The dual enrollment program enables eligible students to earn college credits before they graduate from high school. According to BPCC, 112 high school students from North Louisiana graduated from the college. The most popular programs among these graduates included an associate degree in general studies, electrician technology, emergency medical technician training, nursing assistant, and welding.
'This achievement highlights the incredible opportunities that dual enrollment provides, and we couldn't be prouder, ' said Jamie Hilburn, BPCC's dual enrollment coordinator. While many students across the region participated, the most active engagement for the program came from Bienville, Sabine, Natchitoches, and DeSoto parish schools.
