Luxury hot chocolate cafe Knoops confirms Cardiff opening date
The menu's based on chocolate percentages ranging from 28% white to 100% dark

Luxury chocolate drink make Knoops has officially announced the opening date for their first Welsh store. The Cardiff store will be serving their range of hot and cold chocolate drinks from next week.
The new chocolate café is opening in the capital on Friday, June 20 at 37 The Hayes in the St David's Centre after teasing its arrival for months. Knoops - pronounced kuh-noops - specialises in customisable chocolate milkshakes, hot chocolates and iced chocolate from a large range of strengths.
Uniquely, customers get to chose from a expertly crafted menu of chocolate percentages from 28% white to 100% dark, suited to your own taste.
Knoops was founded in Rye by Jens Knoop who has loved chocolate since he was a child in Germany.

The extensive menu is said to "suit every taste and mood" according to the company.

They said: "The Knoops concept is based around our carefully curated percentage menu which offers chocolates to suit every taste and mood.
"We find joy in helping you to discover your perfect chocolate drink, and encourage experimentation with different percent chocolates and flavours in a process we call 'Knoopology'.
"This process is simple; choose your chocolate percent, milk, and extra flavours like sea salt, orange zest or chilli to be made into a hot chocolate, milkshake or iced chocolate."

Whilst this is their first store, Knoops have cafes across the UK including, Bath, Belfast, London, Edinburgh.
They even have a store in Dubai and are planning to open stores in the US.
As well as delicious chocolate drinks, you can also get sweet treats and chocolate ice-creams.
Vegan and dairy-free options will be available and the store will be dog-friendly.
Knoops also have retail pouches of its signature chocolate flakes so you could recreate the drinks at home.
