JANESVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities are investigating a shooting that left three people dead and one critically injured Tuesday morning at an apartment complex in Wisconsin. According to the Janesville Police Department, officers were dispatched at 11:04 a.m. to a report of a family issue at an apartment on the 2600 block of N. Pontiac Drive. While responding, dispatch received multiple additional calls reporting shots fired at the same location. Three were pronounced dead from gunshot wounds, while the fourth victim was found critically injured. Officers performed life-saving measures at the scene, and the surviving victim was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Janesville police arrest woman suspected of stealing gun from unlocked car

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) — Police in Janesville set up a perimeter and scoured the area until they caught a woman accused of stealing a gun from an unlocked vehicle on Sunday night. According to Janesville Police, officers were sent to the 100 block of N. River Street around 8:45 p.m. on the report of the theft. Police set up a perimeter and used a K9 to track the suspect, leading officers to apprehend Kimberly Heaps, 36, a convicted felon, who was found with the weapon in question concealed in her clothing, authorities said.
