No bail for man from Marlborough migrant shelter who's accused of raping his daughter
MARLBOROUGH — A man whom police allege raped his own teen daughter, impregnating her, while they were staying at a migrant shelter last year will be held without bail for at least 120 days.
Marlborough District Court Judge Janet McGuiggan deemed the man a danger to the public. The Daily News is not identifying the man so as not to also identify the victim of a sexual assault.
The man's defense attorney, Julie Buszuwski, did not contest her client being held.
Marlborough police arrested the man last weekend in Ayer after an investigation that began last May.

Eliot Community Human Services, which operates migrant shelters at the Holiday Inn and Extended Stay hotels in Marlborough, contacted police about an incident that occurred in April 2024, according to a redacted report from the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities Division of Housing Stabilization.
According to the report, Lexington-based Eliot discovered texts sent by a girl who lived at a shelter to someone indicating that she was pregnant 'in the past by her father,' and that her father had sex with her 'multiple times,' both in the U.S. and on the way to the country.
Eliot staff removed the girl from her father's custody and, after he allegedly became aggressive and threatened the staff, the man was removed from the Marlborough shelter and sent to another one, the name of which was not disclosed.
He was arraigned Monday in Marlborough District Court.
The man, who is charged with two counts of aggravated statutory rape of a child, is due back in court on March 28 for a pretrial hearing.
