Adding to its impressive accolades, the film recently received the prestigious Gaddar Award. Rangasthalam is now making a unique entry into the OTT world. Unlike most Telugu films that are available with Japanese subtitles, this blockbuster is being released with a Japanese audio version. The film had already achieved significant success at the Japanese box office upon its release in 2023. For fans in Japan, Rangasthalam will soon be available on Amazon Prime Video (Japan) with Telugu audio and Japanese subtitles. The Japanese-dubbed version will offer a fresh experience for Japanese-speaking viewers. The release date has yet to be announced. When Rangasthalam was released in Japan in July 2023, it earned 2.5 million yen across 70 screens on its first day. This film marked a major milestone in Ram Charan's career, with him portraying Chitti Babu, a partially deaf man. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film also features Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Jagapathi Babu, Naresh, Prakash Raj, Sunil Barve, Aadhi Pinisetty, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in significant supporting roles. Set in a village in the 1980s, it tells the story of two brothers, Chitti Babu (Charan) and Kumar Babu (Pinisetty), who stand up against the corrupt local co-operative society led by its president Phanindra Bhupathi (Babu).
