Roofer hosting community Game Night in Youngstown to bring people together
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Game nights have become a popular way to bring people together. A local union roofer wants to do just that — so he's inviting everyone ages 21 and older to a game night this Saturday.
Jarel Gadson says it's an opportunity for the community to hang out in a fun and safe space.
The theme is 'Squid Games,' so you can expect to see some popular games from the TV show.
There will also be interactive and individual games — UNO, card games and spades, to name a few.
Gadson wants to create a space where people can have fun and network.
'I'm at a place, too, where I also want an environment where it's healthy fun, too. So, you know, I'm feeling like I have to take the steps to try to create it to get it down pat. So I'm very passionate,' he said.
Game Night is Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. at 711 Wick Ave. in Youngstown. It's free to attend and there will be food, prizes and merchandise giveaways.
