Jason Chaffetz: It's Hard To Comprehend The Lengths In Which Democrats Go To Protect Illegal Immigrants
Host of the 'Jason In The House' podcast and former Utah Congressman Jason Chaffetz joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to give his take on Maryland Democratic Senator Chris Van Holland traveling down to El Salvador in an effort to bring home suspected MS-13 gang member Kilmar Abrego Garcia. 'I don't get it. He kept calling him a Maryland man. I'm like, no, he's an El Salvadorian and he is at home. The lengths in which the Democrats go to protect the illegal immigrant population, the lengths they go to protect gang members just says volumes about who they are and where they're going and what they're doing. Do you ever hear stories about the victims getting a call from one of these Democrats, like a Van Holland? I mean, you have some really notorious attacks and murders that have happened there in Maryland, but not a peep comes out of their voices on that. But then to get on the plane, all the things going on in the world, you want us to make sure that this person is coddled and brought back to the United States of America? I just don't understand what they think is actually going on.' Jimmy and Jason also share their thoughts on who might have been responsible for the head-scratching decision to trot out former President Biden to give a speech about Social Security. Listen to the podcast to hear what else they talked about!

The Trump Administration's Border Policies And The Potential Effects Of Tariffs
One of the two major issues President Trump ran his campaign on was a promise to secure the U.S. border from migrants–since the start of his second term, he has made that promise a significant part of his agenda. The Trump administration says it has paid off, significantly improving border issues that it says the Biden administration neglected. Some Americans wonder whether President Trump's tariffs on Canada and Mexico will have an effect on the border. Congressman Tony Gonzales (R-TX) joins the Rundown to discuss border security and immigration issues along the U.S. southern border and Mexico. He explains why developing a partnership with Mexico could greatly benefit the U.S. and help confront major issues. The Congressman also addresses hidden costs that counties along the U.S. southern border face, including handling unidentified migrant bodies who died while crossing the border. It's been several weeks since an Army helicopter and an American Airlines plane collided in Washington, D.C., and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has announced that significant changes are on the way. Despite numerous close calls and incidents, flying remains the safest mode of transportation in the United States by a wide margin. Former FAA Chief Operations Officer David Grizzle joined the discussion to explain why the industry is stretched thin and the need to implement significant changes. Stranded NASA Astronauts Return To Earth
Astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore are back on Earth after spending nine months on the International Space Station, a big change from their initial mission that was only supposed to last eight days. Their replacement crew arrived last week, and they landed back on our planet on Tuesday following a 17-hour ride. Although they are home safe and sound, Williams and Wilmore have a long rehabilitation process ahead. Retired NASA astronaut Clayton 'AstroClay' Anderson joins the Rundown to describe the return process for spacemen and what the road ahead looks like. President Trump has invoked the Alien and Sedition Acts, an 18th-century wartime law, to deport illegal immigrants believed to be part of Tren de Aragua, a dangerous Venezuelan prison gang. The law gives the President the authority to deport foreign nationals during wartime, and the deportation of several Venezuelans is already facing legal challenges from federal courts. Former Deputy Assistant Attorney General and UC Berkeley law professor John Yoo joins the podcast to explain the argument that the Trump administration will make in court for their use of this wartime act to deport violent criminals. The Perils Of America's Sanctuary Cities
Sanctuary city mayors from New York, Denver, Chicago, and Boston testified before Congress on Wednesday as they answered questions on their policies regarding illegal migrants. The mayors were defiant, often clashing with Republican lawmakers in defending their 'sanctuary' status. Former Migrant Shelter Director in the Boston area Jon Fetherston joins the Rundown to share what he experienced while working in migrant housing, what benefits illegal immigrants are entitled to if they come to the United States, and why he believes Boston Mayor Michelle Wu is unfit for her position. During his address to Congress on Tuesday, President Donald Trump broke the news that the ISIS-K terrorist responsible for the Abbey Gate bombing in 2021 was arrested. The attack killed thirteen American troops, and Mohammaed Sharifullah landed in Virginia earlier this week to face charges. Mark Schmitz lost his son, Lance Corporal Jared Schmitz, in the attack and joins the Rundown to share his family's story and react to the news.
