Carl Junction seniors revisit old halls in caps and gowns
CARL JUNCTION, Mo. — It's a walk to remember for some local students before they make a different walk to remember.
Carl Junction High School seniors, today, walked the halls of the buildings where they first started their educational journey, and did so decked out in their caps and gowns.

This senior walk, much like it is for many other school districts in the area, and across the country—has been a tradition in CJ for several years.
'It was really like rewarding to see, everybody was like high-fiving and cheering, and just to kind of go through our old tracks, and like see where we came from,' said Kenna Ellison, Carl Junction senior.
'I love it. It's an exciting time. I'm happy for them. I've had two that have graduated already, so I know all of the emotions that those parents are feeling, and I have one still in high school that's getting close. So, it's just—it's very rewarding to see them walk through for us,' said Dr. Gretchen DeMasters, Carl Junction Intermediate Principal.
These seniors will make their walk across the stage during graduation 5-weeks from tomorrow.
The district also reminds students and parents of no school in Carl Junction on Good Friday.
