Sevilla FC launches Arabic anthem by Moroccan singer Hamid El Hadri ahead of Wydad friendly
Spanish club Sevilla FC unveiled an Arabic version of its iconic Centenary Anthem on Tuesday, ahead of its friendly match against Wydad AC in Casablanca.
The Arabic rendition of Sevilla FC's Centenary Anthem is translated, produced and performed by Moroccan artist Hamid El Hadri, renowned for his multicultural repertoire spanning Arabic, Spanish, French, English, and Italian, according to a club press release.
Originally composed in 2005 by Seville-born musician Javier Labandón, also known as «El Arrebato», the Centenary Anthem commemorates the club's 100th anniversary and has become a unifying anthem for Sevilla fans across generations worldwide.
This new Arabic version represents a significant step in strengthening Sevilla FC's connection with its growing Arab fanbase, the club stated.
