Oroville man pleades guilty to paying women to sexually abuse children
( — An Oroville man pleaded guilty Friday to sexual exploitation of a child, the U.S. Department of Justice said.

According to the DOJ, Javier Robert Barraza, 43, paid women to sexually abuse 'young boys' on video calls.
Barraza recorded the calls and had more than 1000 pieces of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) saved to devices belonging to him, the DOJ said.
According to the DOJ, he also shared the CSAM online and over text messages.

Barraza faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison, a maximum statutory penalty of 30 years in prison, and a $250,000 fine, the DOJ said.
His sentencing is scheduled for August 29.
