Three extortionists apprehended

1 2 Gumla: Three armed extortionists of Ranchi were arrested from Armai village under Sadar police station in Gumla, police said. The arrested were identified as Taslim Ansari and Jawed Ansari, both residents of Piska Nagdi Dewari under Nagdi police station limits, and Md Jawed of Itki Gumlatoli under Itki police station in Ranchi. "Taslim has cases lodged against him with Gumla, Nagdi, and Dhurwa in Ranchi police stations, Md Jawed at Nagdi, Mandar, Itki , Angada, Bero, Murhu and Khunti police stations, while Jawed Ansari has been booked for crimes with Dhurwa and Mandar police stations," the SP said.
