Bombshell breakthrough in Bali gangland murder as cops reveal key discovery
Bali detectives have discovered a second firearm allegedly used in the gangland killing of an Australian man. Zivan 'Stipe' Radmanovic, 35, was shot dead in front of his wife Jazmyn Gourdeas shortly after midnight on June 14 at a villa in Munggu, in the Indonesian island's south. A second man staying in the villa, Sanar Ghanim, 34, was left seriously injured in the alleged attack. Radmanovic's wife Jazmyn Gourdeas and her sister Daniella, who is the partner of Ghanim, hid under covers in a bedroom as two gunmen stormed the villa. Senior Commissioner Ariasandy said on Monday, during a press conference at Badung Police Station, that officers had found a second handgun believed to have been used in the shooting. He said: 'We have found a nine millimetre caliber pistol, discovered by investigators in an irrigation stream, not far from the crime scene where the victim's vehicle had been found.' Badung Police Chief Batubara explained the second firearm was found 15 days after the shooting and about one week after officers found the first gun. 'The second weapon was found around 50 meters from the location where the first gun was found. 'After we found the first gun, we faced several days of bad weather, including heavy rain, which caused the irrigation channel to flood. 'We found the second gun buried in the sands in Tabanan.' Mr Ariasandy confirmed the second firearm has been sent for forensic examination. 'We now strongly believe that the handgun found is one of the two firearms used in the fatal shooting of the victim,' he said. 'Based on forensic laboratory results, we have confirmed the balaclava and gloves recovered from the crime scene, believed to belong to one of the perpetrators, contained DNA that matches one of the suspects currently in custody. 'The DNA found on the balaclava and gloves is identical to one of the suspect.' Three Australian men – Paea-I-Middlemore Tupou, 26, Mevlut Coskun, 23, and Darcy Francesco Jenson, 27 – have been arrested and may face the firing squad if found guilty. Bali police will allege Melbourne men Mr Coskun and Mr Paea-I-Middlemore were the gunmen while Mr Jenson, from Sydney, helped plan the murder, while also providing a sledgehammer and hire cars for the getaway. The shooting is understood to be connected to Melbourne's feuding Middle Eastern crime syndicates. Mr Ghanim survived the shooting but Bali police confirmed he recently underwent surgery and his condition is not currently known. The latest update in the chilling case comes after the DNA of Mr Radmanovic was found on the shoe of a suspect. Earlier this month, Mr Ariasandy said: 'We found evidence linking the perpetrator to the items found at the crime scene... DNA on the suspect, which turned out to be the victim's DNA. 'This is one of the strongest pieces of evidence that indicates the suspect is the perpetrator, the executor of the crime.' At the scene police found 17 bullet casings and 55 bullet fragments at the scene. Bali Police revealed how the gang of suspects allegedly fled across Indonesia after the shooting, escaping the scene on motorbikes before switching cars twice on an 18–hour, 1200km getaway to Jakarta. The three can be held without charge for months while police investigate the killing.

Wife of Bali shooting victim Zivan Radmanovic delivers letter
The wife of an Australian who was gunned down while holidaying in Bali has delivered a heartbreaking letter about the man she described as 'the best dad in the world'. Jazmyn Gourdeas allowed family lawyer Sary Latief to read out a handwritten letter at a press conference on Tuesday, in which she memorialised her husband and thanked the Indonesian police for all their help and support. 'My husband was a loving man and the best dad in the world, now I have the unimaginable (task) of going home to tell (the kids) that he's no longer here,' the letter read. 'Please respect our privacy so we can grieve his loss.' Addressing the media, Ms Latief said Ms Gourdeas was 'not coping very well with the tragedy'. '[She] doesn't have the appetite to eat, she's lost a lot of weight, she looks very pale, she's really worried, she wants to go home.' Zivan Radmanovic, 32, with his wife Gourdeas Jazmyn. Picture: Supplied Ms Latief said Ms Gourdeas' mother and brother had travelled to Indonesia to support her. Ms Gourdeas was a witness to the savage alleged killing, which took place when three men allegedly breached the entrance of a villa the couple had rented in celebration of her 30th birthday. While Ms Gourdeas hid from the attackers, Mr Radmanovic was allegedly badly beaten, before being shot and killed. Sanar Ghanim, 34, suffered wounds in the attack. Picture: Supplied Another man, Sanar Ghanim, was shot during the ordeal, but managed to escape. Ms Gourdeas is now a single mother of six children aged between 9 months and 13 years. A fundraiser has been launched for her by close family friend Jamie Lee. Ms Lee said the 'sudden and devastating loss' had shattered Ms Gourdeas, and the weight of single motherhood would begin to weigh on her without appropriate support. 'While only married for just under a year, the couple were deeply in love and shared a family together,' Ms Lee said. 'Now Jazmyn faces the unimaginable challenge of caring for their large family alone, including three children diagnosed with epilepsy who require ongoing medication, therapies and frequent medical appointments.' A GoFundMe has been set up for Jazmyn. Picture: Supplied The alleged premeditated murder happened on June 14 inside a villa that Mr Radmanovic and his wife had booked for their stay in Bali. The Indonesian Police have arrested three Australian men in connection with the alleged slaughter. 'We are certain these three are the perpetrators. They are Australian nationals according to their passports,' Bali Police Chief Daniel Adityajaya said. According to Indonesian law, the men could face the death penalty if they are convicted of murder. Police still investigating if Bali shooting of Australian man was a botched hit
Singapore/Bali: Bali police say they are still investigating whether an Australian man gunned down inside a luxury villa was the intended target or the victim of a botched hit. Zivan Radmanovic was shot dead by masked intruders in the early hours of June 14 as his terrified wife, Jazmyn Gourdeas, hid under the covers. The couple was in Bali for both a belated honeymoon and to celebrate Gourdeas' 30th birthday, according to her lawyers. Another Melbourne man, 34-year-old Sanar Ghanim, the former partner of Danielle Stephens, who is the stepdaughter of slain underworld figure Carl Williams, was shot in the leg and beaten during the same attack inside the villa and survived. Dudut Rustyadi, a forensic doctor at Sanglah Hospital in Denpasar, said Radmanovic was shot in the chest, stomach, buttock and palm. As is customary in Bali, the three Australians who were detained within days of the killing, and then charged with pre-meditated murder, were paraded before the media on Tuesday in handcuffs, masks and prison-orange T-shirts. Police revealed they would allege Sydney plumber, Darcy Francesco Jenson, 27, organised the rental vehicles and waited in a Ford Ranger outside the villa while Paea I Middlemore Tupou and Mevlut Coskun carried out the killing. Investigators alleged that after the shooting, the two executioners fled on rented motorbikes and later joined Jenson in the car, which was found dumped in the Tabanan area.
