Catania — who previously shared that she lost 20 lbs. with the medication — revealed on the show that she's now gained the weight back. 'I'm having a really hard time right now. My Mounjaro stopped working, I gained 20 lbs.,' she shared. 'I've been looking for therapy for all my friends. I'm really having a bad time with this.' Lewis asked if she's able to switch to another medication like Ozempic and she immediately replied, 'I did it all.' Catania said she has since stopped taking the medication for about a month because she needed to undergo a cardiac ablation — a minimally invasive procedure where doctors freeze or burn the inside of the heart to restore a normal heart rhythm. The Bravo star assured that she's 'fine' now and was only in the hospital for the procedure. 'I'm on a bunch of medicine, like, 10 pills a day,' she said. 'It's just a formality now. The reality star admitted that she was previously 'gaining weight every month' and got up to 163 lbs. before trying the medication and seeing some results. 'It doesn't happen overnight. It doesn't come off easy," she said. Catania was originally prescribed Ozempic, taking the drug for two years before switching to Mounjaro in early 2023. 'I was medically prescribed for both because I am insulin resistant/pre-diabetic and have a thyroid issue,' she said at the time. Catania stressed that although she was still hoping to lose more weight on Mounjaro, taking these medications isn't a quick fix to weight loss, insisting that she focuses on exercising, healthy eating, and limiting her drinking — minus the wild nights spent with her RHONJ castmates. ‘Facts of Life' actress sets record straight about reboot after co-star claims 'greedy b----' sabotaged it
Lisa Whelchel wants to get the facts straight on what really happened to the "Facts of Life" reboot. The actress spoke to Closer Weekly a year after co-star Mindy Cohn claimed plans fell apart thanks to an unnamed "greedy b----." "We were all very, very disappointed that it didn't work," the 61-year-old, who played Blair Warner, told the outlet. "We'd been trying to find a way to work together in some capacity for probably the last 10 years," Whelchel explained. "So, when it looked like this was going to happen, we were all really excited. The contracts were signed and then the writers' strike happened, the actors' strike happened, and then, unfortunately, Pa [Charlotte Rae] and Norman Lear passed. After that, it just kind of dissolved." "We were all quite disappointed," Whelchel stressed. Rae, who played a wise and patient housemother to a brood of teenage girls, died in 2018 at age 92. Lear passed away in 2023 at age 101. A year later, Cohn was on Sirius XM's "Jeff Lewis Live," where she revealed a "greedy b----" was to blame for reboot plans being shelved. Cohn explained that after the success of an ABC special, "Live in Front of a Studio Audience: The Facts of Life and Diff'rent Strokes," in 2021, which featured an all-star recreation of episodes of both shows, including Jennifer Aniston in Whelchel's role, Lear reached out to the cast. "He said, 'Are you guys interested?' And we had all never really talked about it, but we all started to consider it a little bit, and we got into talks. And we hired a writer, and the four of us got together on Zooms. This was during COVID, and we had meetings with Norman about it," Cohn said. Asked what happened, Cohn replied, "What happened was not cute. Yeah… There was drama." "More than that," Cohn said. "[She] went behind our backs and tried to make a separate deal for a spinoff just for herself and devastated the rest of us. … I had booked 'Palm Royale;' another girl is working. I'm just saying it was for a 40-year friendship and sisterhood. There was a tidal wave of emotion around it." "She was a greedy b----, I'll say it," she added. The 58-year-old said the actresses didn't talk "for a while and now we do-ish, but there's definitely, it was an ouch." She added that there is "no desire to ever work together" and the reboot is "dead. It's very dead." "A couple of people can't move past it, don't want to move past it. We are not as united. Let me put it that way. We were united for 40 years over not talking about each other, not doing dirty, not, you know, all for one, one for all, and this kind of wrecked that, which is sad. Really sad," Cohn said. The "Palm Royale" star was asked who the "greedy b----" was among her co-stars — Whelchel, Kim Fields or Nancy McKeon. Cohn refused to say but hinted that her Instagram contained the answer, noting who she spends time with and who she doesn't is clear. The hosts continued to attempt to guess, but they said Cohn wouldn't budge. A few days after Cohn's interview, Whelchel posted a promo for her MeTV show, "Collector's Call." Some fans chimed in with their support for her amid speculation about who caused the reboot to fall apart. "FYI I am Team Lisa," one person wrote. "You/Blair have been my favorite since I was a little kid…I really admire the class you've always shown including now. Lots of fans sending you support!" another person wrote. Whelchel liked both comments. On "Jeff Lewis Live," Cohn said she accepts that the revival didn't get off the ground. "No one wants to see us now," she said. "You know what's cute? They want to see where you are now. They don't want a show about it. Be honest." "It should stay where it is," Cohn shared. "… I think it's so good where it is... This thing should stay wrapped." In 2022, Whelchel spoke to Fox News Digital about a possible reboot. "It's a wonderful trip down memory lane," she said at the time. Christina Haack accuses estranged husband of 'intimidation' after allegedly spotting him in her neighborhood
Christina Haack accused her estranged husband of trying to intimidate her. Haack, 41, revealed the last place she saw her ex — Josh Hall — was actually in her own California neighborhood, even though he resides in Tennessee. During an appearance on Sirius XM's "Jeff Lewis Live," the HGTV star was asked when she last saw Hall, to which she responded, "Oh, does your ex ever wander around in your neighborhood?" "I've seen mine twice this month on my usual every day walks," she asserted. Haack claimed she walks the same route "every day" near her Newport Beach home. "He's by himself. Walking. In my neighborhood." Haack later explained she hadn't spoken to him about the alleged encounters because she "blocked" him. A radio show caller later noted that Haack's allegations are "a really big deal." "Maybe it's just intimidation," the "Flip or Flop" star claimed. A spokesperson for Hall said the real estate agent "still has ties to Newport Beach" and often stays with friends while visiting the area he once lived, according to a statement shared with People magazine. "While visiting, he jogs in a familiar known path for joggers." "It's no secret as he has posted it on his Instagram," the statement continued. "Maybe that's where she has seen him, but he's definitely not looking for her, he's just staying fit." Fox News Digital has reached out to a representative for Hall for comment. "Maybe it's just intimidation." Haack and Hall filed their own divorce petitions in July, each citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the dissolution of their marriage. Hall requested spousal support and asked the court to terminate Haack's ability to receive spousal support from him. Meanwhile, Haack requested the court terminate both of their ability to be awarded spousal support. "I prefer privacy, especially during something as life-changing as a divorce I did not ask for," Hall wrote on Instagram after the divorce news broke. "I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately, the internet is forever. "We are real humans, this is our life and I am not here to entertain people I don't know with my private matters. Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective counsels in due time. Those who know each of us, know who we are." Haack told Lewis on the podcast that she and Hall have "mediation next month, hopefully." But when asked if the two were close to settling, she responded, "No. I don't know. Hopefully. It has not been close, but you know, mediation's good." This seems to be a big change from January, when the HGTV star said she and Hall were "not even close" to settling their divorce. "We're going to be going to trial, I hear," Haack said during a Jan. 12 appearance on "Jeff Lewis Live." "He doesn't want to do mediation. It's going to be fun, can't wait." Haack noted at the time that she hadn't been "ordered" to pay Hall's attorney's fees, "but he's been asking." "I've already had to give a little something," she admitted. The reality TV star claimed she has been financially supportive of Hall. "I gave him money to live, and then he bought a Bentley, but then he also doesn't have a job," she noted. "But he drives a Bentley, so I'm sure he's pulling a lot of chicks." Despite the legal back-and-forth that continues to build, both have been trying to move on. Hall posted a birthday tribute on social media in January to model Stephanie Gabrys on his Instagram, seemingly confirming their relationship. "Happy Birthday to this real life [angel emoji]," he captioned a photo of Gabrys sitting on his lap.
