Georgia Tech looks to improve on their 2024 campaign and that begins with recruiting. In 2024 the Yellow Jackets had a less than stellar season finishing 7-6, while having a decent conference record (5-3). With quality wins against Florida State, North Carolina and Miami, Coach Brent Key hopes to build on that momentum. Beginning with adding weapons.

In 2024, Georgia Tech averaged 237 passing yards per game, keeping them outside the top 50 among Power 4 programs. The top 5 receivers on the 2024 team all played at least 12 of the 13 games on the schedule. None of which flirted with 1,000+ yards, but all were productive.
Eric Singleton Jr and Malik Rutherford lead the way with over 700 yards each. Increasing offensive production will be needed if Georgia Tech is to compete at the top of the ACC with teams like SMU, Clemson, and Miami (all of which finished 2024 in the top 20) retooling after losing key players to the NFL. Not to mention the Bill Belichick-sized elephant in the room in North Carolina.
Darnell Collins made his commitment earlier this month and Jeremy Winston has a verbal commitment to the program, giving a strong push in the WR room. Assuming both of those commitments hold, the confirmed addition of Jeffar Jean-Noel adds a fifth receiver to the Georgia Tech 2026 recruiting class.
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound twitchy Florida native might be the best route runner and yards after catch player added to the 2026 class. Both 247Sports and Rivals confirmed Jean-Noel's commitment. The three-star recruit will bring a welcomed dynamic to the receiver room.

Jean-Noel fits a modern WR archetype. He is fast and quick, good at creating separation, is a good 'hands catcher' and is a threat to break open almost any route he runs. Jaffar could make a living in the short to intermediate routes, but also has the speed and quickness to threaten the top of the defense. With his frame, he is surprisingly good at high pointing the ball and has a surprisingly wide catch radius for his size. His body control and ball skills are better than his 3-star rating would suggest. 50/50 balls and finding holes in zones might be a future strength.

Jean-Noel's quick twitch and smooth route running pops off the screen from his Heritage High School tape. His footwork alone makes him a player defenses must respect. His ability to make difficult or contested catches will serve him well as he begins his college career. If Jean-Noel can develop an ability to make guys miss at the next level, he could quickly outplay his star rating. The addition of Jean-Noel likely puts a nice dent on Georgia Tech's receiver recruiting for 2026.
