Thomasville man wins $2 million lottery prize
THOMASVILLE, N.C. (WGHP) — A Thomasville man is the lucky winner of a life-changing lottery prize.
Jeffery Poole, of Thomasville, bought his winning $20 Instant Millions scratch-off ticket at the One Stop Food Mart on Salem Street in Thomasville and won a $2 million top prize.

Poole was given a choice of an annuity of $100,000 a year for 20 years or a lump sum of $1.2 million on Monday when he arrived at lottery headquarters. He chose the lump sum and walked away with $861,006 after taxes.
