Man arrested, large amount of drugs uncovered in Canandaigua
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Ontario County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a man following an investigation that uncovered a large amount of drugs with over $6,800 cash.
Following a lengthy investigation into the distribution of cocaine, 42-year-old Jeffrey Johnson was arrested when officers stopped his vehicle near Thruway Exit 43 in the Town of Manchester.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office, multiple search warrants were executed on February 24 and 25 following the arrest. Following the searches, deputies and investigators uncovered 1.5 kilograms of cocaine, 9,108 tabs of LSD, 6 pounds of marihuana, 6.7 pounds of mushroom with suspected psilocybin, 1.6 kilograms of ketamine, 27.9 ounces of MDMA, 92 ecstasy pills, and $6,879 in cash.
Johnson was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (1st) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (3rd).
OCSO noted that the investigation remains active and additional arrests are possible.
