3 indicted in connection to E. 50th shooting
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Three people were indicted Wednesday on charges connected to a February shooting on E. 50th Street.
After being dispatched to the 2000 block of East 50th Street on Feb. 18, Savannah Police officers found a male juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound. He was treated on scene and transported to a local hospital for treatment.
While officers were still on the scene, Jemond Burke arrived at the hospital also suffering from a gunshot wound, a Savannah Police Department spokesperson said in February.
Burke, Jeremiah McIntosh and Zion Stewart reportedly arranged to meet to trade for an AR style firearm at the victim's home, grabbed the victim and held him at gunpoint. The victim was then shot, according to the indictment.
According to court documents, Burke is charged with aggravated assault, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and criminal attempt to commit a felony.
McIntosh is charged with aggravated assault, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and criminal attempt to commit a felony.
Stewart is charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery and criminal attempt to commit a felony.
