Wednesday is turning into game night on ABC next month. Celebrity Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! Masters will return with new seasons Wednesday, April 30, with Wheel kicking off the evening at 8/7c, followed by Jeopardy! at 9 pm. West Virginia native advances to Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions Finals
Video: Coverage of when Adriana Harmeyer ended her 15-day Jeopardy! streak in June 2024 CULVER CITY, Ca. (WBOY) — After a historic 15-day run in 2024, Huntington native and Marshall graduate Adriana Harmeyer has returned to the Alex Trebek stage and is just one step away from winning the Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions. Harmeyer entered the tournament on Tuesday night seeded in the semifinal round after her regular season winning streak won her more than $350,000 and qualified her for the tournament three times over. During Monday's match, she took down Ryan Manton from Columbus, Ohio and Will Wallace from Austin, Texas to advance to the finals round of the tournament. West Virginia Tourism's must-see 'It List' of Natural Wonders Depending on the results of the remaining semifinal games, Harmeyer could potentially rematch against Drew Basile, of Birmingham, Michigan, who has also been seeded in the semifinals and was the player who snapped her winning streak. Harmeyer's streak in 2024 is the 11th longest one in the history of the program. Game one of the Tournament of Champions Finals is set to kick off on Friday, Jan. 7. The first player to win three games will win the tournament and the grand prize of $250,000. You can catch all of the tournament action weeknights at 7 p.m. on WBOY-NBC.
