Fans of the friends-to-lovers trope, take a seat. A new celebrity romance appears to be in the works, with Billie Eilish and Nat Wolff spotted kissing on a hotel balcony in Italy this week, effectively confirming rumours of a relationship.
The long-time friends are yet to confirm anything about their relationship, and likely won't be debuting anytime soon, following years of public scrutiny over the singer's personal life. In October of 2024, Eilish spoke to Vogue , declaring, 'I'm never talking about who I'm dating ever again.' This came almost two years after her very public relationship and breakup with singer Jesse Rutherford.
Wolff, 30, has grown up in the entertainment industry just like Eilish, 23. He and his younger brother began acting at a young age, with the eldest Wolff having starred in projects such as The Fault in Our Stars , Paper Towns , and Death Note . The two brothers now largely focus on their music, performing as the duo Nat & Alex Wolff. The pair even joined Eilish on her tour last year.

Nat's brother, Alex, was the first to meet Eilish. The pair met at an Oscars party in March of 2023, before the 'Birds of a Feather' singer met Nat in December 2023. The latter two met at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles.
Alex later told Variety , 'Billie and me and my brother, we all have Tourette's. And I think we have all bonded over that.' He continued, 'We know all the ways that we try to mute ourselves or try to chill ourselves out or soften ourselves for other people, and how nice it is to not have to do that for certain people.' The following year, Eilish was seen attending Coachella with the brothers. The weekend was documented on the sibling duo's Instagram and included images of Eilish receiving a piggy-back ride from Nat, as well as watching a performance sitting on his shoulders. Wolff and his brother soon joined Eilish's Hit Me Hard and Soft tour as her opening act. The pair kicked off the tour with Eilish in Quebec and stayed on until December of that year.
During this time, in an interview with Vogue , Eilish referred to the brother-duo as 'some of my best friends in the world.' Nat was also interviewed by the outlet and similarly gushed about the singer.
'She's one of those people where almost everything she does, she does better than everyone else,' he explained. 'You just have to kind of submit to the fact that she's going to be better than everyone else at everything.' This year, the pair were spotted leaving the iHeart Music Video awards together on March 17. While the rumour mill had been churning prior, this is when speculation surrounding the two really amped up.
A few days later, they were seen bar-hopping around the East Village in NYC, causing a source close to the pair to tell Page Six , 'They are close friends. Nothing more. Billie is affectionate with all of her friends.' June 2025
All speculation came to a head this weekend, June 7, when the pair were spotted enjoying champagne and kissing on a balcony in Venice, Italy.
