Gino D'Acampo puts £4.2million home up for sale after inappropriate behaviour allegations
Gino D'Acampo has reportedly put his £4.2million mansion up for sale. The MailOnline reports the Italian chef, 48, listed the Hertfordshire property last week, months after his alleged misconduct scandal. In February, D'Acampo was hit with dozens of accusations of sexually inappropriate and 'distressing' behaviour towards colleagues over the past 12 years, which he denies. Along with seven bedrooms, the Grade II listed terrace property also has six bathrooms, and the paper reports D'Acampo and his wife Jessica recently restored the Georgian house. The property also has a garden, complete with an outside kitchen and a Jacuzzi, along with a garden studio, which is currently used as a gym and cinema room. Typical of Georgian homes, the house also includes tall ceilings with roses and fireplaces in eight of the rooms. 'Gino's had a tough time lately so selling the family home will also add to the sadness,' a source told the paper. 'Himself and Jessica put so much work into turning the property into their dream home.' The Standard have contacted representatives of D'Acampo for comment. Last month, it was reported his last remaining restaurants were saved from closure in a £5 million deal. In February, D'Acampo was accused of 'horrendous' misconduct on various TV shows in an ITV News investigation. He reportedly made lewd sexual comments to a female colleague in one alleged incident in 2011 and allegedly kissed a famous footballer's wife on the lips at a charity event in 2012. He also allegedly made 'disgusting' sexual comments about whether he would sleep with his ITV co-star Holly Willoughby or her close friend, presenter Fearne Cotton. The Road Trip star has "firmly denied" the allegations and described them as "deeply upsetting". "I have never been made aware of these matters previously and the allegations are firmly denied,' he said in a statement. 'I would not do anything that I thought would upset or distress anyone. This is simply not in my nature. I do not recognise the version of events being put to me." The former This Morning star has been keeping a low profile since the scandal hit, however last month he made a return to the spotlight to promote the opening of his new restaurant in Malta. He made a series of lewd comments during a radio interview, where he said men don't like 'skinny' women because there's no 'meat' to hold onto, before boasting that Italian men can give 'maximum satisfaction'. When a female presenter named Nicole said she regularly goes on diets, he replied: 'Only dogs like bones.' He then appeared to mime grabbing a woman's body with his hands, saying: 'A real man, he wants the meat... Don't get too skinny, otherwise it's like, no.' The TV personality also told her, 'You're too pretty for radio,' according to The Sun.

EXCLUSIVE Gino D'Acampo puts his £4.2million mansion up for sale - months after his TV career imploded amid allegations of lewd and inappropriate behaviour
Gino D'Acampo has put his £4.2million Hertfordshire mansion up for sale, months after his TV career imploded amid allegations of lewd and inappropriate behaviour. MailOnline can reveal the Italian chef, 48, listed the Grade II listed seven-bedroom Georgian property on Friday, having overseen a huge restoration project with wife Jessica. The couple, who share three children Luciano, 23, Rocco, 20, and Mia, 13, also have a property in Sardinia, where Jessica recently hosted a get-together among her female pals. The decision to put their family home on the market also comes after Gino's restaurant empire racked up debts of £7.3million before going into administration. A source told MailOnline: 'Gino's had a tough time lately so selling the family home will also add to the sadness. 'Himself and Jessica put so much work into turning the property into their dream home.' The end of terrace property has six bathrooms, a giant kitchen/breakfast room and a living area featuring a grand piano next to a spectator Georgian fireplace. Gino has previously pictured himself playing guitar in the room in front of the roaring fire. The 4,720 sq ft property also includes period features typical of houses of its era including fireplaces in eight of the rooms, tall ceilings with roses, original ornate cornices and large shuttered windows which flood the rooms with natural light. The garden is also perfect for entertaining, featuring an outdoor kitchen, mains gas bbq, heated gazebo and a Jacuzzi with led lighting system and sound connection. There is also a garden studio currently used as a cinema room and a gym. Earlier this year, an ITV investigation found there were multiple claims of 'unacceptable,' 'distressing' and 'horrendous' treatment while working with Gino over more than 12 years. It was also claimed ITV ignored complaints over the star's 'inappropriate' towards his colleagues, which included 'vile' and 'sexist' comments made towards Holly Willoughby in 2018. He told ITV News he 'firmly denied' all the allegations, which he called 'deeply upsetting. Gino admitted he and wife Jessica have their own lives and often spend prolonged periods of time apart during their free time. Jessica has yet to comment on Gino's sex scandal, but he's still included in the bio on her Isnatheam account, in which she describes herself as 'the wife of a funny little Italian, mother to the greatest kids on the planet, friends with so many people, so I'm a pretty lucky lady.' The 4,720 sq ft property also includes period features typical of houses of its era including fireplaces in eight of the rooms, tall ceilings with roses, original ornate cornices and large shuttered windows which flood the rooms with natural light Gino said his time away from work is carefully balanced so he can be alone - something he claims helps strengthen his marriage. He told heat: 'I think it's not only important to spend quality time with my family, but I also strongly believe in spending time alone. You discover new things about yourself and you have time to think, which is something that people don't do often enough. 'Everybody's always so busy and alone time is super-important for my marriage.' He added: 'Jessica and I have been together for 31 years, we have three children, and we never have problems, because we have our own lives away from one another.' Gino met his wife as a teenager, while working at Sylvester Stallone's Mambo King restaurant in Marbella - where he served as Head Chef. They married in 2002 and renewed their vows in 2021, but the Italian star refutes the idea that time spent apart could lead to affairs. Speaking to OK! Magazine, he explained: 'You need to balance your married life with your 'single life''. 'I can be away for a month and I will talk to my wife once a week for about 20 minutes. Then, when I come back, we can talk about it all.'
