Reuben is the second eldest of nine. Would he and Jess like to both have a big family one day?
'I don't know if I want as many!' he replied. 'I think I would lose them!'
He added both his parents, Amanda and Clive Owen, who announced they were splitting up in 2022 after 22 years of marriage, think Jess is great.
'Everyone gets along,' Reuben explained.
'Everything is great. They get on with her and we all get on.'
He then joked they have not come to either him or Jess, however, for dating advice following their amicable break-up.
'No, they don't need that!' he stressed before adding: 'They split up but that's life. They still get on great and it works. I don't mind what they do as long as they are both happy.'
Reuben's solo series following the trials and tribulations of running his own digger business has proved a big hit for 5 and the second series is airing every Tuesday at 8pm.
He said: 'It has been really fun to film and I feel so lucky to have got a second series. Everyone has been so supportive.'
As for whether he would ever go on another reality show like Celebrity Big Brother and it's a big 'no'.
'No, this is what I know,' he insisted. 'I don't actually like watching myself on TV either.
