Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Cast Includes Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones
Krysten Ritter's will appear in Marvel's Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.
Daredevil: Born Again premiered on Disney+ in March 2025. A continuation of the Netflix Daredevil show, the series sees Charlie Cox reprise his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, while Vincent D'Onofrio also returns as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin.
Per Variety, it has now been confirmed that Ritter will appear as Jessica Jones in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.
Ritter previously played the Marvel character in three seasons of the Netflix Jessica Jones series, which premiered in 2015. The second season was released in 2018, followed by Jessica Jones Season 3 in 2019. Additionally, Ritter's Jessica Jones was also part of The Defenders cast alongside Cox, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, and Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist.
There have been rumors that Marvel Studios may be looking to bring back Ritter, Colter, and Jones for new MCU projects following the return of Cox in Daredevil: Born Again; however, there has been nothing regarding that matter officially confirmed until now.
Whether or not that means Colter and Jones could also return in some capacity remains to be seen. It's also not immediately clear how large of a role Ritter will have in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2; whether it's a quick cameo or a larger part is up in the air at this point.
In addition to Cox, D'Onofrio, and Ritter, the cast of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 includes Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin 'Dex' Poindexter/Bullseye, Nikki M. James as Kirsten McDuffie, Genneya Walton as BB Urich, Clark Johnson as Cherry, Michael Gandolfini as Daniel Blake, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, Matthew Lillard, and more.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 is expected to premiere on Disney+ in March 2026.
