Boardman residents evacuated due to gas leak
BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – Some residents in Boardman are being evacuated due to a gas leak.

Boardman Fire Chief Mark Pitzer said three homes on Park Harbour Drive off of Shields Road have been evacuated due to the leak.
The gas company is on the scene to stop the leak.
Workers were in the area boring for fiber optic lines when someone hit a gas line. The gas went into the storm sewer, backing up into some of the homes.
