Paul Stone and The Basement Collective share music and tour plans
A jazz band is set to release two new singles and go on a UK tour.
Paul Stone and The Basement Collective, a group of musicians from Yorkshire, will release their latest single, Pure Imagination, on March 28.
They will release another single in early May, marking the conclusion of their debut EP before they shift their focus to original work.
The band is made up of Paul Stone, Jim Corry, Steve Hanley, Jamie Taylor, Jason Scott, and Jose Canha, all of whom trained at Leeds Conservatoire.
According to a spokesperson, the project "was born out of more than just a love for jazz—it's about creating a lasting space for music."
Paul Stone built his own recording studio in his basement, providing the foundation for "a creative hub where artists can collaborate and push boundaries."
The band is now finalising a UK tour and is looking for venues to collaborate with.
A live agent is also sought to help take the project to the next level.
Paul Stone said: "This project is about more than just music—it's about creating something that will last."
