Canton's Monumental 4th celebration will be July 3. Here's the event details
CANTON – The Monumental 4th celebration will be July 3 at McKinley Memorial Park, 800 McKinley Drive NW, outside the McKinley Presidential Library & Museum.
Gates will open at 6 p.m.
Live entertainment will begin at 7:30 p.m., featuring En-Rich-Ment Drum Line of Stark County and Jimmy and the Soul Blazers. The fireworks display will begin at dusk, about 9:45 p.m.
City police announced the following road closures on July 3 from 5 to 11 p.m.
Seventh Street NW from Monument Park to Hazlett Street
Elgin NW from Tuscarawas Street W to Seventh Street NW
Monument Park
Washington Blvd. NW
Lane restrictions along Tuscarawas Street W from Shroyer to Dueber Avenue in both directions.
