Three arrested in separate Tangipahoa Parish child pornography cases
TANGIPAHOA PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Three people have been arrested in connection to separate child pornography cases in Tangipahoa Parish.
According to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force made the arrests following recent investigations in the parish, with two being apprehended thanks to tips submitted to the ICAC.
47-year-old Jimmy Pierce, of Kentwood, was arrested on May 19 after he was identified as allegedly uploading child sex abuse materials to the internet. Investigators say a search of electronic device confirmed that he was in possession of the material.

Pierce is charged with 24 counts of pornography involving juveniles under 13. The investigation remains ongoing for those who were involved in trading the material.
After multiple tips came in, 27-year-old David Bonfiglio Jr., of Tickfaw, was also arrested on May 19. He is charged with three counts of pornography involving juveniles under 13.
