Kota Marudu District Football Association (Safa) Acting President Jimson Majemal expressed disappointment over the matter, saying the project was supposed to have been completed after the contractor was granted an extension until May 31. The people here, especially sports enthusiasts, have long awaited good news as a symbolic gift for the Kaamatan celebration, but many are disappointed that the project is still not completed,' he said in a statement on Wednesday. KM Sports Complex still incomplete despite deadline extension

He urged the Sabah Youth and Sports Ministry (KBS) to explain to the local community why the project remains unfinished despite being granted another deadline extension.
