'The expedition was held in conjunction with the Sabah Youth Carnival 2025 Countdown Programme, which will take place at the Likas Sports Complex in Kota Kinabalu on May 17 and will be officiated by Chief Minister Datuk Hajiji Noor,' she said. She also noted that the activity not only tested participants' physical endurance but also aimed to foster unity among youths through a journey that brings them closer to the beauty of nature. One of the participants, Effendy Allyssndro, said the climb was challenging, but the natural scenery provided a sense of peace and calm. The hike began at 7am and concluded at 2pm. Sobrinah said the event was carried out without any major injuries reported. * Follow us on Instagram and join our Telegram and/or WhatsApp channel(s) for the latest news you don't want to miss. * Do you have access to the Daily Express e-paper and online exclusive news?
