After 12 years, he returns with no memory of his childhood, but Jae Yi is convinced the person is an impostor. What follows is a long wave of deceit, mystery, and evil intentions. 'We wrapped filming around May last year, and after nearly a year, it's finally out,' Jo said of the eight-month shoot. The K-drama ended on a bittersweet note that left many reeling with its open ending, but fans praised the chemistry between the lead stars as worth the hype. Jo Bo Ah, who is no stranger to the fantasy genre, having starred in shows like Destined With You, also praised her co-star Lee Jae Wook for being reliable, comforting and easy to work with. 'He has a great personality,' she shared. 'If someone's awkward when I try to talk, I hold back too. But Jae Wook was really open, so we clicked fast. I even started calling him 'angel' by the end,' she laughed. However, despite sharing a good friendship off-screen and beautiful chemistry on screen, Jo made it clear that her bond with her male co-stars has become more reserved in recent years. Opening up about this on Shin Dong Yup's YouTube show Jjanhan Hyung, she recalled an incident where she 'once messaged a co-star, 'See you that day♥' and thought nothing of it,' she said. 'But the heart emoji sparked unexpected dating rumours.' The host chimed in, saying people with natural habits like this don't always realise how it comes across. Dear Hongrang's Jo Bo Ah reveals why she sets boundaries with male co-stars; reason might SHOCK you
Jo Bo Ah is famous for her instant chemistry with pretty much every co-star she works with. Whether it's Lee Dong Wook in Tale of the Nine Tailed, Rowoon in Destined With You, or Lee Jae Wook in her latest series Dear Hongrang, she effortlessly blends her energy with hers. Known not just for her talent but also for her sweet, caring personality, Jo Bo Ah has always been the actress who connects naturally on and off screen. But things have changed. In a recent episode of Shin Dong Yup's YouTube show Jjanhan Hyung, Jo Bo Ah opened up about why she's become more distant from her male co-stars, and no, it's not just for her marriage. A heart emoji is the reason why she keeps her distance. Jo Bo Ah recalled, laughing, 'I'd casually send a heart emoji after saying 'Okay, see you then' without a second thought.' But apparently, those little hearts sparked some confusion. Her male co-star misunderstood her intentions. Shin Dong Yup commented, 'People don't always distinguish between men and women — it just slips out naturally.' Jo Bo Ah nodded, explaining how tricky it can get in the entertainment industry. 'People don't like seeing you act cute with the opposite sex, so I naturally started keeping more distance from male colleagues.' The guest on the show, Park Byung Eun, chimed in with a laugh, 'I misunderstood her once. She would say, 'Thank you, love you, sunbae,' and then just walk away. It caught me off guard!' This confusion led Jo Bo Ah to stop being too friendly with her male colleagues. For those who didn't know, Jo Bo Ah quietly tied knot in October 2024 with a non-celebrity, and she prefers to keep her married life completely private — something she's managed to do perfectly. Jo Bo Ah's story is a reminder that behind the effortless charm and chemistry, a smart woman is navigating the fine lines of her career and personal boundaries with grace.

Jo Bo Ah finally addresses shelved drama Knock-Off, admits fear of hurting Kim Soo Hyun: ‘Can't help but…'
Actress Jo Bo Ah has finally spoken out about the much-discussed Disney+ drama Knock-Off. The series has remained shelved indefinitely due to mounting controversies surrounding her co-star Kim Soo Hyun. The drama, once considered a flagship production for the streaming platform, has been absent from all recent promotional announcements. This sparked speculation about its cancellation. Now, Jo Bo Ah has addressed the topic for the first time publicly during a press interview for her new Netflix drama Dear Hongrang. Dear Hongrang is a period melodrama where she stars as a noblewoman with a tragic love story. As she promoted it, Jo Bo Ah was asked to comment on the status of Knock-Off, the big-budget thriller that had generated immense buzz since its initial announcement. While she acknowledged the public's curiosity, the actress chose a cautious yet heartfelt approach when discussing the stalled project. As quoted by Koreaboo, 'I know that a lot of you are curious to know, but I really can't help but approach [talking about Knock-Off] with a lot of caution. Just because what I say could unintentionally hurt someone, I'd rather hold back on commenting,' Jo Bo Ah said. She further added, 'I will say Knock-Off is a project where everyone involved poured a lot of energy and affection into it, and I believe that effort will be recognized someday and lead to a good outcome.' Her remarks, though subtle, were enough to confirm that the uncertainty surrounding Knock-Off has been just as difficult for the cast and crew as it has been for fans awaiting its release. Meanwhile, the series had drawn significant attention even before filming began due to its reportedly massive production cost. It was estimated at around 60 billion KRW (approximately 42 million USD). Touted as a high-stakes thriller with a star-studded cast, Knock-Off was originally expected to premiere in 2025. However, its fate became uncertain following actor Kim Soo Hyun 's involvement in a wave of controversies linked to the late actress Kim Sae Ron. Unconfirmed reports have estimated that Kim Soo Hyun's appearance fee for Knock-Off was around 9 billion KRW (roughly 6.3 million USD). If the drama remains unreleased, sources suggest his penalty could surpass 100 million KRW. However, neither the production team nor Disney+ has confirmed any figures or made an official statement on whether the project has been scrapped permanently.
