COLUMBIA, Conn. (WTNH) — News 8's Laura Hutchinson was in Columbia Wednesday for career day at Horace Porter School. They gave a presentation on broadcast news and the students got to see a stunt performer, dog groomer, and a Marine, among many others. In Your Neighborhood: Laura Hutchinson and photojournalist Joe D'Addese speak at Columbia career day They said it's a nice break from the books to focus on your future. 'I want to be a fashion designer and do hair and makeup,' sixth-grader Kaitlyn O'Leary said.
