'It plays at the back of my mind and that's pretty cool.' Earlier this month she revealed she's desperate to have children - but admitted the gruelling demands of her showbiz career are delaying her dreams of becoming a mum. The star, who lifted the Glitterball Trophy last year, revealed that time spent with her nieces and nephews over Christmas triggered serious baby fever. Dianne told The Sun: 'I would like to have children, 100 per cent. 'Joe and I love kids, and that's definitely something that we would absolutely love. I haven't really thought about how many I would like. It will definitely happen.' The couple, who live in a £3.5million home in Brighton, have been flooded with baby chat recently, but say their hectic schedules are the biggest hurdle. Dianne is currently preparing to hit the road for a 30-date UK tour with fellow Strictly dancer Vito Coppola, while also promoting a new podcast with 2023 partner Chris McCausland. The pro dancer admitted juggling motherhood and a performance career would be 'a challenge' but insisted it's something both she and Joe are excited about. She said: 'My job is quite demanding and I love it so much. 'It is a tough one to balance out and think about. It would take a lot of thought, but eventually one day we'll get there, but there is lots happening at the moment. It will happen when it's supposed to.' It has been a successful year for Dianne who won a TV BAFTA this month alongside her Strictly partner from last year Chris. She was paired with the comedian , 47, who lost his sight at the age of 22 due to genetic condition retinitis pigmentosa, on last year's series and now they have a Best TV Moment BAFTA to their names. The show won Best TV Moment for McCausland's moving 'blackout' waltz to You'll Never Walk Alone - choreographed to highlight his visual impairment and echo a similar routine performed by deaf contestant Rose Ayling-Ellis in 2021. While the comic was absent, a triumphant Dianne was on hand to personally accept the award and show it off backstage in the winners room. Strictly earned the accolade after beating pivotal scenes from Bridgerton, Gavin & Stacey, Mr. Bates vs The Post Office, Rivals and The Traitors to the award. Australian dancer Dianne was accompanied by her long-term boyfriend and former Strictly Come Dancing partner Joe as they greeted photographers on the red carpet earlier that night.

Strictly's Dianne Buswell teases baby plans with Joe Sugg after admitting feeling broody
STRICTLY Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell teased baby plans with Joe Sugg, after admitting feeling broody. The TV favourite met her partner Joe Sugg when he competed in the BBC One show in 2018, and says she has recently become broody after spending time with their nieces and nephews. 4 4 4 And in a new video cementing this fact, Dianne filmed her partner Joe with two doves in their garden. Joe could be seen sitting in casual wear on a bench, while bending down to feed them. He left his hand open with some birdfeed in his palm, and he doted on them as they came over to him. Dianne penned as the caption: 'He would make the best twin dad.' The Strictly star used a moving soundtrack as the backdrop to the video, and fans couldn't help but agree with her. One person said: 'So wholesome a lovely person, a true gentleman,' and a second echoed: 'aww the little smile on his face. He's so proud!' A third person wrote: 'Are they hinting at something,' and someone else wrote: 'This has to be the cutest thing.' It comes after Dianne's exclusive interview with The Sun on Sunday, where she said: 'I would like to have children, 100 per cent. 'Joe and I love kids, and that's definitely something that we would absolutely love. I haven't really thought about how many I would like. It will definitely happen.' Dianne, 35, who won the contest last year partnering comedian Chris McCausland, says it was spending Christmas with family at the couple's home in Brighton that led to discussions about parenthood. The pair are already auntie and uncle to their siblings' children. Dianne has a brother, Andrew, who is also a dancer, and Joe's sister Zoella is a media personality. Dianne said: 'Joe's got two nieces who I also class as my nieces, and then I have another two nieces and two nephews in Australia, and my oldest niece is 15. 'I am a big fan of my little nieces and nephews. I love kids, I love working with them and being around them. Sometimes, I'm a big kid at heart myself. I think it helps when you can get down to their level. I'm very lucky.' But Dianne said one of her biggest challenges may just be finding the right time. She and fellow Strictly pro Vito Coppola have just announced a 30-date tour, Red Hot And Ready, starting next month. And she and Strictly winner Chris — the programme's first blind contestant — have just launched their own podcast, Winning Isn't Everything. On the prospect of motherhood, Dianne said: 'It is quite tough because my job is quite demanding, and I love it so much. 'It is a tough one to balance out and think about. It would take a lot of thought, but eventually one day we will get there, but there is lots happening at the moment. It will happen when it's supposed to.' 4

Strictly's Dianne Buswell says Joe Sugg 'is not bothered' after engagement rumours
Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Dianne Buswell, who after two near-misses finally won Strictly Come Dancing in 2024, has brushed off rumours of an engagement with her 2018 celebrity dance partner Joe Sugg. Speaking to Heat Magazine, Dianne explained that the misunderstanding about her relationship with Joe was brought about by a simple side-effect of long-distance air travel. Sitting still for long periods, along with the low humidity in airplane cabins, can cause peripheral oedema - puffiness in the hands and feet It can also cause silly misconceptions, Dianne says: "I had to put my ring on that finger because it was the only one that wasn't puffed up from flying to Australia. I even posed for pictures with it! I didn't realise it would make such a commotion." (Image: undefined via Getty Images) Dianne's boyfriend, YouTuber Joe Sugg, wasn't drawn into the "commotion," she says: "Joe does not look at any stories like that. He's not bothered - it never affects him." The next "commotion" that Dianne's fans can expect to see will be Red Hot and Ready – the series of live shows that she's just about to start with fellow Strictly pro Vito Coppola. "This dance show has been two years in the making," Dianne says. "It's going to surprise a lot of people. There's things in there that you'd never see us do on Strictly, I'll put it that way! It's an emotional roller coaster. We want people to laugh and cry with us." (Image: undefined via Getty Images) Alongside her tour commitments, the professional dancer has been keeping herself busy elsewhere. She recently returned to her native Australia to work on the children's programme Bluey, contributing to the new Bluey Dancealongs on the show's YouTube channel. In this role, she choreographed and starred in five dance videos for the series, featuring young fans of the animated programme. Speaking about the project, Dianne said she was thrilled to be involved, saying: "How cool that I got to go to Bluey's World in Australia to dance in Bluey's house with some incredibly talented kids dancing to some of Bluey's favourite tunes." (Image: PA) Looking further ahead, Dianne confessed that she dreams of appearing on BBC1's The Traitors. Superfan Dianne admitted: "Every time I play Traitors at home I'm always voted out first. "Everyone thinks that I am lying, and I'm just trying to help the team out. I'm very vocal, so I start to talk, and then they all think I'm being shady, so I always get voted out. So, I've decided not to play any more."

Strictly Come Dancing fans break down in tears at Joe Sugg's moving reaction to Dianne Buswell's BAFTA TV Awards win
Strictly Come Dancing fans broke down in tears over Joe Sugg's moving reaction to Dianne Buswell 's BAFTA TV Awards win. Professional dancer Dianne, 36, and comedian Chris McCausland, 47, who lost his sight at the age of 22 due to genetic condition retinitis pigmentosa, took home the Most Memorable Moment prize. The pair had wowed audiences with their poignant 'blackout' waltz to You'll Never Walk Alone - choreographed to highlight Chris's visual impairment. Only Dianne was present at the awards ceremony to accept the prize and gave a speech, thanking everyone who voted for the dancing duo. At one point, the camera panned to Diane's partner, Joe Sugg, 33, who looked extremely emotional as he watched on. The YouTuber appeared to be crying while Diane accepted the award and fans were struck by his heartfelt reaction. Many took to social media and posted on X: 'Awwww did I spot a tear in Joe's eye? #BAFTAS #BAFTATVAwards.'; 'Joe Sugg is SO proud of Dianne's #BAFTATVAwards win.'; 'JOE SUGG CRYING OVER DIANNE AND CHRIS WINNING THE BAFTA,' someone else gushed, followed by several crying face emojis. Another penned: 'Love shines at the BAFTA TV Awards! Joe Sugg moved to tears as Dianne Buswell wins. A beautiful reminder of joy and support in relationships. #BAFTA #LoveWins.'; 'Joe crying for Dianne winning a #BAFTA.'; 'I've just absolutely wailed at that shot of Joe with tears in his eyes #BAFTATVAwards #BAFTAS.' Strictly earned the accolade after beating pivotal scenes from Bridgerton, Gavin & Stacey, Mr. Bates vs The Post Office, Rivals and The Traitors to the award. Joe was Dianne's Strictly Come Dancing partner back in 2018 but the pair missed out on the Glitterball after Kevin Clifton and Stacey Dooley took home the trophy instead. They initially denied any rumours of a romance between the two, but one day after the final, the YouTuber posted a photograph of the pair captioned with, 'I may not have won the glitter ball, but I've won something a million times more special.' The BAFTA win comes after a surge of controversy clouded the show. In September, comic Chris won plaudits from Strictly viewers by paying tribute to Liverpool - his home city - with a solo waltz before quietly asking Buswell: 'Did I do okay?' It was a rare moment of sunshine for the show after it pushed ahead with its 22nd series despite being hit with a wave of unsavoury allegations that began in May 2024 with fan favourite Giovanni Pernice accused of backstage bullying. Pernice quit the show and faced an internal probe that later exonerated him of any wrongdoing after former celebrity partner Amanda Abbington claimed she was left with post traumatic stress disorder as a result of his 'militant approach to training '. A source told The Sun at the time: 'Gio feels the scrutiny on him has become too much and now is the time to make a fresh start. 'He wants to focus on other TV projects, and feels he's achieved all he can on Strictly, having won the trophy back in 2021 and reaching the final an unprecedented four times. 'He remains adamant he's done nothing wrong other than being a hard taskmaster, but knows his style of training isn't to everyone's liking - especially in this day and age.' Worse would follow, with Graziano di Prima fired by BBC bosses over claims of 'physically and verbally abusive' behaviour towards celebrity dance partner Zara McDermott. Addressing his exit from the show, a 'devastated' Graziano later wrote on Instagram: 'I deeply regret the events that led to my departure from Strictly. 'My intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime. 'While respecting the BBC HR process, I acknowledge it's only right for the sake of the show that I step away. I am saddened that I wasn't allowed to offer a quote to the online news stories, and I take on board the sensitivity of the situation. 'There's more to this story that I am unable to discuss at this time, but I am committed to being strong for my family and friends. I wish the Strictly family nothing but success in the future.' Overlooking the controversy as she accepted the award on behalf of McCausland on Sunday evening, Buswell said: 'In one minute and 30 seconds of a dance, I feel like this told such a story. 'A story of hope, determination, resilience and vulnerability. 'This moment meant so much to the both of us, so I'm just so thrilled that we have this.' Ending with a comedic message from her former dance partner, she added: 'Chris did have something he wanted me to say, and that is 'after 22 years in comedy, he wins a Bafta for dancing''. 2025 BAFTA TV AWARD WINNERS AT A GLANCE Drama Series - Blue Lights (BBC One) Limited Drama - Mr Bates vs the Post Office (ITV1) International - Shogun (Disney+) - WINNER Scripted Comedy - Alma's Not Normal (BBC Two) Entertainment - Would I Lie To You? This year's ceremony saw Strictly Come Dancing clinch the award for Most Memorable Moment. The winning moment was Dianne Buswell and Chris McCausland's 'blackout dance' from the 2024 series of the BBC show. Dianne was present to receive the award, which was determined by a public vote.
