Top Workplaces is competitive, so nominate your Knoxville company soon: Deadline extended!

We asked, you responded, but we're still looking for more awesome businesses to consider for the 2025 Top Workplaces in Greater Knoxville. This is the ninth year Knox News is partnering with Pennsylvania-based research partner Energage to honor outstanding workplace culture in the region. The deadline to nominate, which is a quick and painless online process, is now extended to March 21. Don't miss this opportunity to throw your company in the hat, as long as the business has at least 35 employees. It's free, it's fun and it highlights the important work businesses are doing throughout the region to make Knoxville and East Tennessee a better place to live and work. Just visit or call 865-407-5068 for more information and to nominate any deserving organization, from public and private businesses to schools and government agencies. To qualify, employees evaluate their workplace in a 25-question survey that takes just a few minutes to complete. Companies will be surveyed through April. Energage conducts Top Workplaces surveys for media organizations in 65 markets nationwide and surveyed more than 2 million employees at more than 8,000 organizations in the past year. More than 1,000 organizations in Greater Knoxville were invited to survey their employees for the 2024 awards, and 73 were recognized as Top Workplaces based on employee surveys. So far in this round of nominations, Energage has received 12 nominations from companies that have never participated in the program before. "We're proud to partner with Energage to honor our region's top employers," said Joel Christopher, Knox News executive editor. "The annual survey and recognition have proven to be a powerful community-building effort that puts a spotlight on the best organizations that make East Tennessee such a special place." Ryan Wilusz is the business growth and development editor. Phone 865-317 5138. Email Instagram @knoxscruff.
