HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – The Holyoke St. Patrick's Parade is in need of more than 100 sign carriers. The St. Patrick's Committee of Holyoke is putting out a call for people interested in carrying the banners that announce each award winner, band, marching unit, and division in the parade. Sign holders need to be over 12 years of age. Each participant will receive a special 2025 Holyoke St. Patrick's Parade sweatshirt, as well as a $20 payment for their service. In a news release sent to 22News, 2025 Parade President John Beaulieu said they are excited to involve more people in this year's parade. 'Our sign carriers play an important role in announcing each division and thanking our generous sponsors. They bring energy and enthusiasm to the crowd as spectators anticipate the next group in the marching lineup, and we're happy to offer a $20 stipend to thank them for their participation,' Beaulieu said.
