Andrew Lloyd Webber's CATS has enjoyed more than nine lives, with the record-breaking musical announced for a season this November at Crown Theatre Perth as part of its 40th anniversary Australian tour. Renowned producer John Frost said he had admired the legendary show across the decades after the musical had its Australian premiere in Sydney in July 1985. 'A sparkling fusion of music, dance and verse, it was revolutionary when it first opened and enticed new audiences into the world of musical theatre,' Frost said.
