Billie Piper makes VERY bold fashion statement in heeled bejewelled Crocs after 'rekindling relationship with ex boyfriend Johnny Lloyd'

Billie Piper made sure all eyes were on her footwear as she took a stroll in London on Wednesday. The actress, who made her sensational return to Doctor Who on Saturday night, opted for a very extravagant pair of heeled Crocs. The brown chunky shoes were bejewelled with an array of white and silver gems as she made sure they were the talking point of her outfit. Aside from her footwear, Billie kept it simple in a white T-shirt and black jogging bottoms. Piling her blonde locks on top of her head she completed the look with a pair of shades as she was seen chatting on the phone. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. It comes after it was reported the star has rekindled her relationship with ex boyfriend Johnny Lloyd. The actress, confirmed she had split from musician Johnny, who is frontman of the band Tribes, in March 2024 after eight years together. But fans have now spotted the exes kissing during an outing last week with their daughter Tallulah, seven, at a London pub. The family were enjoying a country music gig on Thursday at a Notting Hill bar, with Billie, 42, spotted beaming as she and Johnny, 39, chatted to friends outside. An onlooker told The Sun: 'Billie and Johnny were all over each other. They looked really cute together. Billie beamed as their daughter Tallulah sat on her lap. 'Billie rested her elbow on Johnny's shoulder as the band belted out country music covers - they all looked blissfully happy. 'The family trio left around 8pm, thanking the band with handshakes and kisses as they left the venue.' Representatives for Billie and Johnny have been contacted by MailOnline for comment. In March 2024 Billie confirmed her split from Johnny following an eight-year romance. Sources had said that 'like many couples, lockdown was quite tough for them, so they have had time to really think about what they want their future to look like.' In a British Vogue spread, the actress confirmed they had separated but did not reveal any further details other than her three-word verdict on Johnny, calling him a 'very good man.' Billie and Johnny welcomed their daughter Tallulah in January 2019 after it was confirmed in July 2018 that Billie was expecting her first child with the rocker. The couple ex first met at the Boogaloo pub on London's Archway Road in 2016. In April 2019, Johnny revealed that a lot of his success was down to Billie's support as she helped him get to the end of a sometimes bumpy journey. When they met the attraction was reportedly instant and mutual. 'She challenged me. She kept asking me questions like, What's your five-year plan? Where are you headed musically? And telling me I had to be accountable for everything I did,' he said 'I felt my head had been stuck in this way of just thinking next job, next tour and I wanted to keep talking to her. Luckily she felt the same way about me. 'She's made my life better in so many ways and I just feel I now know who I am, I know what I can do, I know where I want to be. And that's with her.' Billie was previously married to DJ Chris Evans, whom she famously wed when she was 18 and he was 35. She shocked fans when it emerged they had tied the knot in a casual Las Vegas wedding in 2001 - with just six guests - and just a year after meeting on Chris' TV show TFI Friday. She later admitted to being 'completely hammered for three years' during their marriage and split from Chris in 2004. The divorce was finalised in 2007. Following her marriage to Chris, Billie tied the knot again with controversial activist Laurence Fox in 2007. She was granted a 'quickie' divorce from him in 2016. The actress shares sons Winston and Eugene with the controversial activist and the pair were embroiled in a lengthy custody dispute after their split. Speaking about how past trauma impacted her relationships, Billie mused in her Vogue 2024 interview: 'It's coming out of your 20s, there's enough stuff in your life to look over and go, "Oh, that's been a pattern of behaviour." 'There was a point where I realised I had been drawn into siding with men on a lot of things. I became incredibly frustrated and angry about that. 'I felt very unhinged in my early 30s and kind of mentally not well. There was something very, very sobering about that time and letting go of people that weren't very healthy for me. Unfortunately, a lot of that has been in relation to men I suppose.' She added that finding fame at a young age and working in a male-dominated music industry also impacted her love life. 'Sometimes I wanted to appeal to them, so that I could feel safe. Sometimes I wanted to be them because it looked like they were having a better time than I was', Billie explained. 'It was a period of time in the 1990s where it was just very, very male heavy. I felt a huge amount of frustration about that and I carried that into my romantic relationships.' Billie is on a career high, shocking fans with her return to Doctor Who in a surprise appearance for the series finale on Saturday night. In 2020 Billie starred in the critically acclaimed Sky series, I Hate Suzie. She then landed a lead part in the 2024 Netflix drama Scoop, a dramatic retelling of the process of securing and filming the 2019 Prince Andrew interview with Newsnight. The series was praised by viewers and critics alike, with a whopping 2.75 million households tuning in for the first week alone and Billie also secured a TV BAFTA nomination for her role. That same year, she starred in another Netflix series, Kaos - a contemporary re-imagining of Greek mythology - where she played prophetess Cassandra. Next up is a part in Netflix megahit Wednesday, as Isadora Capri, Nevermor Academy's new head of music. Billie will then be kept busy filming for Doctor Who after the jaw-dropping finale saw her unveiled as the next incarnation of the Time Lord. The actress is well-known to longtime Who fans, having previously played The Doctor's companion Rose Tyler, and The Moment interface in the show's 50th Anniversary Special. Ncuti Gatwa became the 15th Doctor in 2023 but during Saturday's episode it appeared that Ncuti's Doctor, had regenerated into Billie, with her first words being: 'Oh hello!' Billie will now be the second woman to take on the role as the Time Lord after Jodie Whittaker portrayed the 13th doctor. However, while her reveal understandably sparked a huge frenzy on social media, others have been quick to spot one key problem with her regeneration, following Ncuti Gatwa's long-speculated exit from the show.

Inside Billie Piper's career resurgence as she lands string of lucrative new roles including surprise Doctor Who return - three decades after bursting onto the scene as a singer

It's been three decades since Billie Piper burst onto the showbiz scene with her hit single Because We Want To. As a fresh-faced 15 year old, she had the world at her feet, with the talented teen tipped for mega stardom after becoming the youngest artist to debut at number one. Having pivoted to acting, Billie then enjoyed a string of high-profile roles, including spots on Doctor Who, Secret Diary of a Call Girl and Penny Dreadful. Yet in the 2010s, Billie's work commitments took a backseat to her personal life as she split from right-wing political activist Laurence Fox broke down and went on to welcome a daughter with Tribes frontman Johnny Lloyd. Now, with Billie, 42, confirmed to be returning to Doctor Who, her career is looking brighter than ever, with a string of lucrative new roles in the pipeline. The actress is now estimated to have a net worth of £9 million, Celebrity Net Worth reports. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The turning point came in 2020, with the release of her critically acclaimed Sky series, I Hate Suzie. The Swindon-born star was lauded for her brooding portrayal of former popstar Suzie Pickles, who has her life thrown into disarray when intimate photos of her in a compromising position with a man who isn't her husband, are leaked online. Rotten Tomatoes reported an approval rating of 95 percent, while Billie received a TV BAFTA nomination for her work in both the first season and follow-up I Hate Suzie Too. However, despite going down a treat with critics, it failed to draw in a big enough audience, and it was not renewed for a third season. Speaking to the Mail about the show's cancellation, Billie mused: 'It just didn't get a big enough audience - that's the way it goes. 'People in television loved it, because I guess it is largely about the world in which they work, but it wasn't seen by as many people beyond that world as we would like it to have been.' Yet Billie didn't suffer the same problem with her next role, landing a lead part in the 2024 Netflix drama Scoop, a dramatic retelling of the process of securing and filming the 2019 Prince Andrew interview with Newsnight. The series was praised by viewers and critics alike, with a whopping 2.75 million households tuning in for the first week alone. Billie also secured another TV BAFTA nomination for her role as Newsnight producer Sam McAlister. That same year, she starred in another Netflix series, Kaos - a contemporary re-imagining of Greek mythology - where she played prophetess Cassandra. The eight-episode series also starred Jeff Goldblum and Janet McTeer and received good reviews. Fans were left crushed when the series was not renewed, with Kaos ultimately becoming the most-watched cancelled series in the second half of 2024. Yet Billie had no time to mourn the end of the show as she was thrust into work on Netflix megahit Wednesday. The mother-of-two has landed a role as Isadora Capri, Nevermor Academy's new head of music. A former child prodigy, Isadora is described as being 'brilliant, intense, and enigmatic.' According to Netflix, she takes a special interest in Wednesday's (Jenna Ortega) musical gifts and becomes a mentor to fellow werewolf Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers). Wednesday Season 2, Part 1 will drop on August 6, with Part 2 following on September 3. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, some fans were quick to note in the episode's closing credits, Billie was not credited as 'The Doctor,' with it instead simply stating: 'Introducing Billie Piper.' Reacting to the news Billie said: 'It's no secret how much I love this show, and I have always said I would love to return to the Whoniverse as I have some of my best memories there, so to be given the opportunity to step back on that Tardis one more time was just something I couldn't refuse.' It is not known when the show will return and Billie's next scenes will air.

Billie Piper is writing a rom-com

Billie Piper is writing a rom-com. The 42-year-old actress started out as a pop star before transitioning to TV and film and now she's revealed she's hoping to take on more work behind the camera after making her directorial debut with 2019 film 'Rare Beasts', which she also wrote and starred in. Speaking to the Guardian newspaper, she explained: "If I watch 1990s romcoms now, I find them hard to understand. They just sit differently. "Even though I love those movies, it's a time that felt so radically different from the world we live in now. So I'm trying to do something that feels authentic to now, but still feels dreamy and hopeful." When asked how she deals with writer's block, she replied: "I panic! Luckily, I'm so green even the bad days seem achievable." Billie went on to add: "I don't just want to be an actor for hire any more. It feels too frightening. But then, you know, what am I going into? "Writing things that also may never get made? People want to make massive things for loads of money, and then the expectation is that those numbers reflect that spend, and if they don't then they're gone. It's really sad." It comes after Billie admitted she struggles to find a work-life balance when juggling her acting career with raising her three children - Winston, 15 and 11-year-old Eugene with ex-husband Laurence Fox and five-year-old daughter Tallullah with former partner Johnny Lloyd. She told "Working mothers' stuff is really complex." Asked if she has a work-life balance, she added: 'No. I don't. I feel like we've been told we should have that. But there's absolutely no way I have that? "And that's one of the tiring things about being an actor for hire – if you're working in a lead role, you're out of the house sometimes 15 hours a day. "I really struggle with that now I've got three kids.' Billie explained it can be particularly difficult as she may have an intense three-month period of filming and then no work for the rest of the year. She noted: "But when you're gone, you're gone. Those extremes make for something quite rocky.'
