Olivia Dunne posts 5-word reaction as fashion show stunt goes viral

Former LSU Tigers gymnast Olivia Dunne posted about her viral moment during the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Fashion Show on Sunday. "I got triple dog dared," Dunne wrote on X. The national champion pulled off a move only she could do during the show. She strutted down the walkway in a black and white polka-dot bathing suit that featured red bows in the front and down toward her hips. As she reached the end of the aisle, she dropped down in a split. Dunne smiled as she received some applause from the crowd that packed the show. As she walked back up the runway, she touched hips with musician Xandra Pohl. Dunne also wore a bikini in a separate instance down the runway. She wore a cropped shirt that read, "Sports Illustrated Swimsuit." The former LSU Tigers gymnast was named a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model last month as she ended her collegiate career. She was one of four cover models, along with Lauren Chan, Salma Hayek and Jordan Chiles. Dunne was in the spotlight for much of her collegiate career as she brought with her millions of social media followers. As she left college, Dunne boasted more than 8 million followers on TikTok and another 5.3 million on Instagram. She helped the Tigers to a national championship in 2024, but her final year with LSU was derailed because of an injury. However, with her fame came some chaotic situations. Her overzealous fans created a security issue for the Tigers at one point during her collegiate career. She also expressed fears she was being stalked at airports by men seeking her autograph. "I fear that I'm being stalked, and I don't know what to do. It's gotten to the point that every single time I go to the airport there's a group of at least 10 middle-aged men waiting for me, and they harass me," she explained in the video with over a million views. "It's these men that want my autograph," she continued. "They have a stack of like 40 pictures of me or my magazines, and they will run after me down the TSA pre-check line and yell at me if I don't give them my autograph. It's insane." Dunne included a video from her most recent trip to the airport that left her in tears after she claimed they "circled me at the baggage claim and were like in my face." "It's something with the airline, and it's weird," she speculated before adding, "It needs to stop, because it's scary for girls. It's weird." Dunne has been spotted cheering on her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, as the Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher continues to make waves in the major leagues. Jordan Chiles And Ana Barbosu Overcome Olympic Scandal To Shine In 2025

Photo: Marijan Murat/dpa (Photo by Marijan Murat/picture alliance via Getty Images) Gymnasts Ana Barbosu (ROM) and Jordan Chiles (USA) became internationally recognized names in August 2024. In the final gymnastics event of the Paris Olympics, Barbosu and Chiles became embroiled in a tumultuous feud over the bronze medal. After initially awarding the bronze medal to Chiles, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) stripped the American of her Olympic medal, instead awarding the bronze to Romania's Barbosu. In a matter of days, Chiles went from triumph to despair, and Barbosu underwent the reverse. Currently, both athletes possess their bronze medals, but only Barbosu's is officially recognized by the Olympic governing body. Chiles' legal team is actively suing to have her medal formally reinstated. In short, the situation remains unresolved, with both athletes enduring immense mental hardship while caught in the crossfire. "I have no words," Chiles said of the result in late August, describing the decision as 'unjust' and a 'significant blow' to herself and her supporters. Chiles also faced a barrage of hate and harassment from fans, an element 'adding to the heartbreak.' Despite holding conflicting interests with her competitor, Barbosu deeply empathized with Chiles' pain. She also endured her own. 'It was a very tough time,' Barbosu said of the period following the Olympics, telling the media that she was 'heartbroken' during the fallout. Though both dealt with a share of struggles, the two have already channeled their heartbreak into triumphant performances in 2025. This past spring, Chiles led the UCLA Bruins to their first Big Ten Championship and a National Runner-Up title at the 2025 NCAA Championship. Chiles also defended her 2023 NCAA uneven bars title, collecting her third individual championship. Off the mat, Chiles expanded her impact far beyond gymnastics. In May, Chiles made history as one of the first two gymnasts to land the cover for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. The same month – Mental Health Awareness Month – she committed to a powerful partnership with CorePower Yoga, centering the importance of mental health and wellness in sports. With every new partnership, Chiles reinforces her commitment to becoming a prominent voice for mental health and women's sports. Though the two-time Olympian has not yet decided on an elite comeback, she has her sights set on another NCAA title push in 2026, her senior season with the UCLA Women's Gymnastics team. Interestingly, Chiles' Olympic rival will join her on the collegiate stage next year. In a shocking turn of events, Barbosu announced her commitment to ACC powerhouse Stanford University. She will join the Cardinal in 2026, competing as a freshman while Chiles completes her senior season. Though she began the year with hardship, this time in the form of injuries, Barbosu made a statement at last week's European Championships. In fact, she made history. Initially considering withdrawing from the event to focus on her studies, Barbosu exceeded expectations at May's championship in Germany. The 18-year-old collected four medals—tying the most of any female athlete at the championship—and finished her competition with gold on floor exercise. 31 May 2025, Saxony, Leipzig: Gymnastics: European Championships, Decision: Floor, women. Ana ... More Barbosu (Romania, gold) at the award ceremony. Barbosu finished third in the all-around despite an error-ridden beam routine, marking her nation's first all-around medal since 2013. With her gold medal on floor, she clinched Romania's first European title on the event in five years. She also collected a surprise bronze on bars, an event that has plagued Romanian gymnastics for decades. The last time a Romanian medalled on the event was Steliana Nistor in 2007, over 17 years ago. For Barbosu, her success in 2025 shows 'that [she] is capable of getting over the hard times with the right people beside [her].' While the Romanian now has her sights set on finishing exams and training for a World Championship berth, fans can hardly wait to see Barbosu share the collegiate stage with her fellow Olympian, Jordan Chiles. Though their journeys came at odds last August in Paris, Barbosu and Chiles set glowing examples of athletes channeling hardship into triumph.

Livvy Dunne shares snaps of boyfriend Paul Skenes for his birthday

Livvy Dunne wished her professional baseball player boyfriend, Paul Skenes, a happy birthday, on social media. Skenes, who turned 23 on Thursday, is a star pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Gymnast Dunne posted the photos with the caption, 'Happy birthday little baby @paulskenes' on Thursday afternoon. Dunne recently graced the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition magazine and she became a cover star this year after posing for SI Swimsuit in Bermuda. However, the former LSU star said she wasn't very comfortable during the shoot - due in part to the fact that she kept putting weight on the kneecap she fractured in March to prematurely end her college gymnastics career. 'Fun fact: I was shooting on a fractured kneecap, so poses like this and the cover shot kind of hurt,' Dunne said in a recap video of the shoot, as she showed herself posing on her knees. 'But it was honestly so worth it.' The issue, which is on newsstands now after being released on May 17, and it also featured fellow gymnast Jordan Chiles, actress Salma Hayek and model Lauren Chan as cover stars. Dunne, 22, admitted the whole experience was a dream come true afterwards. 'I can't believe it. Oh my god,' she told the magazine. 'That photo is so good. That is crazy, I am a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover model. She also gushed over the shoot in Bermuda, adding: 'It was the most beautiful place I have ever been. The whole experience was extraordinary. 'I know it was quick, but every single time we go to these places, and I shoot for these 24 hours, and it's the quickest trip, you guys feel like family, truly. I have the best time, and it's the most fun shoot I've ever done.'
