Three NXT champions set for WWE main roster takeover

In just a few days, some of the biggest stars in NXT lost their titles, and now they are getting ready to move up to the main roster. Stephanie Vaquer, Jordynne Grace, and Ricky Saints are all expected to join Raw or SmackDown very soon. These changes show how WWE is building up its future with fresh and talented wrestlers. At NXT Battleground, Trick Williams won the TNA World Championship, shocking fans everywhere. Right after that, Stephanie Vaquer lost her NXT Women's Championship to Jacy Jayne, and Ricky Saints lost the North American Title to Ethan Page. Jordynne Grace, who recently signed with WWE, also had a big match at Battleground against Vaquer but did not win. Now, with their title runs over, all three are moving forward to bigger stages. WWE NXT Viewership Increases On 4/8, Demo Also Rises
NXT logo 2024 WWE NXT saw an increase in viewership on April 8. According to Wrestlenomics, NXT averaged 683,000 viewers on Tuesday. The show drew a 0.17 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week's episode, when an average of 650,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also rose from last week's show (0.15 rating in the same demographic). What happened on WWE NXT this week? This week's show kicked off with a match between Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker. It ended in a no-contest after Stephanie Vaquer got involved at ringside. This led to the return of Giulia, who took out everyone. Advertisement Sol Ruca and Izzi Dame won their qualifying matches to compete in a six-way ladder match for the vacant championship at Stand & Deliver. Elsewhere on the show, Fraxiom defeated Swipe Right in a non-title matchup. In the main event of the evening, Darkstate defeated Oba Femi, Trick Williams, and Je'Von Evans when Williams and Femi couldn't get along, leaving Evans to get pinned. Early Wednesday, NXT, the developmental promotion of WWE, will organize its 2025 Roadblock, which is a special themed episode of the weekly show. It will be the fourth annual NXT Roadblock and the sixth Roadblock event overall. The event will take place at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The event will also feature wrestlers from TNA, such as Moose, and the Hardy Boyz.
