Suspect wanted in St. Louis Mother's Day shooting death
ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public's help with locating a suspect wanted in the Mother's Day shooting death of a young mother in north St. Louis.
Around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, 24-year-old Joree Hadley was shot and killed in the 4400 block of Maffitt Avenue in The Ville neighborhood of St. Louis.
SLMPD homicide detectives have since identified Deandre' Miller, 28, as a suspect in the case. While formal charges have not yet been filed, Miller is wanted in connection with Hadley's death.
Police say Miller is a convicted felon and should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach him and call 911 immediately.
