TAMPA, Fla. - A cyber-tip investigation landed a Tampa man behind bars, facing 100 counts of child pornography charges. The backstory The Tampa Police Department got a cyber-tip on February 20, 2025, from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about the possession and distribution of suspected child pornography. The report indicated a consistent pattern of activity between November 2024 and January 2025. Detectives with TPD worked with the cyber crimes unit of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to investigate and identified 25-year-old Jose Guerrero, Jr. as the suspect.
