Portugal's NOS Set to Replace CFO Amid Fierce Competition
NOS SGPS will likely replace Chief Financial Officer Jose Koch Ferreira after the Portuguese telecommunications company's top shareholder failed to propose the executive for a new term.
The shareholder, Sonaecom SGPS SA, didn't include Koch Ferreira on a list for the 2025 to 2027 term that's set to be voted on at an April 11 shareholders meeting, according to a statement on its website. The CFO change takes place as NOS, Portugal's second-biggest telecommunications company, faces fierce competition from low-cost newcomer Digi Communications NV.
