Mora man killed, Chisago City woman injured in head-on crash
A 40-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Pine County Saturday afternoon.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a Buick Lacrosse driven by Joseph Peacock, of Mora, crossed the centerline on Hwy. 48 and collided head-on with a Ford F-150 coming the opposite way at around 4:40 p.m.
Peacock was killed in the crash. The State Patrol say he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time, and that alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the crash.
The driver of the Ford, identified as a 62-year-old Chisago City woman, sustained non-life threatening injuries.
