THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS Actor Joseph Quinn Reveals Third Villain Who Will Star in the Film — GeekTyrant

We are just over a month away from the highly-anticipated Marvel movie The Fantastic Four: First Steps . It will officially induct Marvel's first family into the MCU, introducing us to Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic (Pedro Pascal); Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby); Johnny Storm/The Human Torch (Joseph Quinn); and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach). They will go up against the Universe's biggest bad, Galactus, who is being portrayed by actor Ralph Ineson, heralded by Julia Garner's Silver Surfer. While that seems like a big enough opponent, Joseph Quinn has revealed that the film will feature yet another villain. Quinn appeared at CCXPMX 25 this past weekend, and via a video shared on X by CultureCrave (via SuperHeroHype), he confirmed that Mole Man will be in the movie. The actor explained: 'We've got a lot of fantastic characters in there. There is also Mole Man, who is wonderful in it, but Galactus is the big bad. He's the big, evil, planet-gobbling space god…He's played brilliantly by the wonderful Ralph [Ineson]. 'And Silver Surfer, played by the brilliant Julia Garner. We were very lucky to work with her, she's excellent in the film. There are lots of brilliant characters in this film, that's for sure.' There have been rumors that Mole Man would appear in The Fantastic Four: First Steps , though there has been no official confirmation until now, as the character hasn't been seen in any of the trailers. The popular theory online is that Paul Walter Hauser could be playing Mole Man, as his casting in the film has been confirmed, but it has not yet been announced who he's playing. 'Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel's First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Johnny Storm/Human Torch and Ben Grimm/The Thing as they face their most daunting challenge yet,' the official synopsis for the movie reads. The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released in theaters on July 25, 2025. What do you think of this addition to the story?

Barry Keoghan reveals why he can't look Ringo Starr in the eye as he attends ‘Beatles Bootcamp' to prepare for biopic

ACTOR Barry Keoghan has revealed he has spent the past three months in a 'Beatles bootcamp' ahead of playing Ringo Starr in a film series on the Fab Four. The 32-year-old said he has been practising how the drummer walks, talks and plays to take on the role. 3 He expects to be working on the four films for 15 months — with co-stars Paul Mescal, Joseph Quinn and Harris Dickinson. Barry said: 'We've been in full camp for like 16 or 17 weeks now. "It's just an absolute joy. The camp is like bootcamp and it's a place where you have time and you try things. 'For Ringo, you get to approach the walk, the accent, play around with the face. "It's a place of failing, a place of learning and trying. That's the process I'm in now. It's a playground for me.' Barry, speaking at the Fastnet Film Festival near Cork, Ireland, added: 'The drumming is going great. "I've been doing it for like six, seven months. I've got blisters on my hands now.' He also met 84-year-old Ringo, saying: 'He gave me so much ammunition to go forward. 'I sat opposite him and I could not look at him because I was nervous and his wife Barbara was there and she said, 'You can look at him.' 'Every time I looked at him I saw myself in his glasses. I said to him: 'I am not coming here to quiz you. I am coming to find out what made you and how the contrast was going back to Liverpool after Beatlemania.' Barry Keoghan hints he's reunited with girlfriend Sabrina Carpenter after dropping major clue at Paris Fashion Week 'We can all do imitation but I wanted to know where it came from. He was so on the money. 'My approach to The Beatles movie is entirely different to anything I have ever done. 'Being sober has now allowed me artistically to go down a constructive way and kind of bring back emotions and control. Rather than be erratic. There is a whole new approach to it.' Director Sam Mendes helped pick Saltburn star Barry for the role, along with Normal People' s Mescal as Paul McCartney, Stranger Things star Joseph as George Harrison, and up-and-coming actor Harris as John Lennon. The biopics are expected to be released in 2028.

New FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS Image May Tie-In With THUNDERBOLTS* Post-Credits Scene

A new, perhaps spoilery photo from The Fantastic Four: First Steps has been released online. Via IGN, we've learned that many fans think this Fantastic Four photo ties directly into the Thunderbolts* post-credits scene. As you may recall, that scene jumped forward in time 14 months, and the Thunderbolts, now branded the New Avengers, detect a ship coming into Earth's orbit from another dimension. And we see that the ship has a '4' logo on it, letting us know it's the Fantastic Four. Is the ship we see them in below the one that they arrive in the Sacred Timeline with? We have a strong feeling it is. In the new photo, posted by Fandango, we see Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn) and Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal) on board a spaceship of some kind, one with '4' logos. This means it's definitely not the space flight where they got their powers. We see glimpses of that flashback in the trailer. In those scenes, their spacesuits are clearly just regular, standard-issue NASA style suits. The spaceship in this image is clearly one they have after they're a famous superhero team. So it could very likely be the ship we see them traverse the Multiverse with at the end of Thunderbolts.* This makes us wonder even more about the end of The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Does Marvel's First Family defeat Galactus at the end of their film? We genuinely don't think it will end with the death of billions, it's just too much of a downer. Perhaps, they end his threat only temporarily. They may feel the need to go to another reality with more heroes for help. Maybe that's why they are heading to Earth-616. This is not because Galactus destroys their world, but because they know he is a bigger problem than one group of heroes can handle. We'll find out more about this connection with Thunderbolts* when The Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theaters on July 25.

New THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS Image Hints at Second Space Mission — GeekTyrant

Fandango recently dropped a new image from the upcoming MCU film The Fantastic Four: First Steps featuring Pedro Pascal's Reed Richards and Joseph Quinn's Johnny Storm suited up in full space gear. Unlike the first teaser trailer where the team's uniforms were more basic and noticeably missing the '4' logo—this new shot showcases custom space suits with the '4' insignia proudly displayed on the chest. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Fandango teased:'Take flight with Marvel's #TheFantasticFour First Steps, starring Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Vanessa Kirby and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Exclusively in movie theaters this July 25.' So what are we looking at here? The prevailing theory is that this photo doesn't show the team's origin story—but their second mission into space, and fans are speculating that this journey could take them deep into the cosmos for their first confrontation with none other than Galactus. There may be more to the story if you connect the Marvel dots. The Thunderbolts* post-credit scene teased the Fantastic Four's extra-dimensional spaceship fly into Earth's atmosphere. Some fans thing they could be preparing for that journey in this photo. It's worth noting that First Steps kicks off Phase 6 of the MCU, with director Matt Shakman ( WandaVision ) at the helm. This movie is setting the stage for something massive and I'm excited to see how it turns out! The movie is set to hit theaters on July 25, 2025. Marvel seems poised to reintroduce the First Family of Comics with ambition and heart. So what do you think? Is this the mission that puts them face-to-face with Galactus? Or are we about to watch them crash-land into Earth-616? Either way, the multiverse just got a lot more fantastic.

My job is to observe and take in all kind of mannerisms and, you know, studying [him]. 'I want to humanise him, bring feelings to it. And not just sort of imitate.'
