How to use Nintendo Switch 2's Joy-Con Controller 2 as a mouse?
Nintendo has launched its long-anticipated Switch 2. The new Joy-Con 2 controllers are an exciting addition; instead of using a joystick, they will work as a mouse very simply. Just put the accessory it comes with on the controller then lay it on its side on a flat surface. Now you can traverse with a mouse cursor.
The wait is over because the Nintendo Switch 2 is finally here. Since its announcement in January 2025, fans have been waiting eagerly for this hybrid handheld console to become a reality, and now actually it has.
From a custom Nvidia CPU to advanced graphics features like ray tracing and DLSS upscaling, the new console has come up with so many upgrades. However, the most exciting addition has to be the all new Joy-Con 2 controllers, which can be used as a mouse as well.

The Joy-Con controller of a Switch device has always been a treat for the fans. Besides sticking it with the actual console, it can be removed and can be used as standalone controllers like other typical console controllers.
However, this time there is a twist in the Nintendo Switch 2. The all new Joy-Con 2 controller can be used as a mouse as well.
The word 'mouse' never pops in our heads when we talk about consoles. But that's going to change with the recently launched handheld console. Actually the Joy-Con 2 controller can be used as a mouse if you place its side on a flat surface, and then a mouse cursor will appear on the screen.
However, before doing that, you need to attach the mouse accessory (which comes in the box) with the controller.

Make sure that the + and - symbol of the accessory matches with buttons of the controllers and you are good to go. Not only that, you can even customize all the buttons of the Joy-Con 2 controller for your preferred functionalities when you use it as a mouse.
