Booing fans demand R-Truth's return after shocking WWE exit
The post Booing fans demand R-Truth's return after shocking WWE exit appeared first on ClutchPoints. Mere days after having a match with his childhood hero, John Cena, on Saturday Night's Main Event, R-Truth shocked the world when he announced that his time in WWE was coming to an end, as the promotion would not be offering him a new contract when his deal came to an end. Advertisement 'I'm sorry to inform you all. I just got released from WWE. I want to thank WWE for the ride, but MOSTLY I want to thank each and EVERYONE OF YOU who was along for the ride,' R-Truth wrote on social media. 'Thank you for all the love, support, and appreciation you have given me over the years. Thank you' Returning his moniker to Ron Killings, the name he used in TNA and on the indies, fans, other athletes, and wrestlers from every company sent well wishes to the former WWE Superstar and winningest 24/7 Champion of all time, but the real question was how would live crowds react to the news? Would they enjoy the final RAW before Money in the Bank as if nothing happened, ignoring the exits of Carlito and Sarah Logan as well? Or would they let their voices be heard the way wrestling fans do best: organized chanting. That's right, over and over again throughout the show, the crowd in Oklahoma let it be known that they still want R-Truth and appreciate what he brings to the company. To their credit, R-Truth did just have his biggest feud since his run in Judgment Day the previous month and was just in the main event of RAW the week before against a debuting JC Mateo. Will this treatment continue? Will fans on NXT and SmackDown demand the return of their favorite comedy act? And what about the crowd in Los Angeles, who famously booed Hulk Hogan out of the building on the RAW Netflix debut? Will fans be able to get their way before R-Truth officially leaves the building for good, or is it only a matter of time before he's on AEW Dynamite or Collision, asking Toni Storm why she talks so differently now?

Finn Balor Is Looking To Snap A Stunning WWE Streak
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A surprising statistic regarding decorated WWE Raw superstar Finn Balor has come out. Wrestle Ops pointed out that today, June 3, 2025, "marks 1 full year since Finn Balor last won a singles match" on television. The prominent Judgment Day member has gotten only three wins in singles action within the past 2 years. This comes despite his consistent presence in high-profile storylines and tag team championship success. Balor's most recent attempt to secure a significant singles opportunity came just last night on the June 2nd episode of Raw. He competed in a challenging Triple Threat Money in the Bank qualifying match against CM Punk and "El Grande Americano" Chad Gable. CM Punk ultimately won the bout. Throughout 2025, Balor has remained a cornerstone of the heel faction, The Judgment Day, on Monday Night RAW. While his individual singles victories have been scarce, he has reached considerable success in the tag team ranks. He notably held the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships multiple times with fellow Judgment Day member Damian Priest. The group, also featuring Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, Liv Morgan, Carlito (before his recent departure), and new recruit Roxanne Perez, continues to be a dominant force on the red brand. PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - APRIL 08: JD McDonagh, Finn Balor, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest, WWE Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio standing in ring at the Wells Fargo Center on April 8, 2024... PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA - APRIL 08: JD McDonagh, Finn Balor, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest, WWE Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley, Dominik Mysterio standing in ring at the Wells Fargo Center on April 8, 2024 in Philadelphia, news: WWE News: Steve Austin Reveals Real-Life Vince McMahon Confrontation Balor's WWE career boasts an impressive list of accolades. He made a massive impact in NXT, where he was a two-time NXT Champion, holding the record for the longest combined reign. Upon his main roster debut in 2016, he made history by becoming the first-ever WWE Universal Champion. His resume also includes two reigns as Intercontinental Champion and one as United States Champion, showcasing his versatility and main event caliber. Known for his captivating "Demon" persona, which appears for his biggest matches, Balor has consistently been a top-level performer until the last three years, during which he has lost the majority of his matches. This current drought in televised singles victories is therefore a notable statistic for a superstar of his stature, even as he thrives within The Judgment Day. It will be interesting to see if WWE turns around its winning ways in the near future or if it continues to head down this direction. More WWE News: For more on WWE, head to Newsweek Sports.

Dominik Mysterio and Judgment Day Pay Tribute To Carlito On RAW After WWE Release
The Judgment Day paid tribute to their soon-to-be former stablemate, Carlito. In about two weeks, Carlito will depart WWE as the company opted not to renew his existing contract. In the meantime, his Judgment Day stablemates paid tribute to him on this week's episode of WWE Raw. Advertisement While appearing in a backstage segment inside the Judgment Day clubhouse, Dominik Mysterio sported a 'That's Not Cool' t-shirt, which is still listed on WWE Shop. Upon closer inspection, fans also noticed that the television, on which Carlito frequently played the WWE 2K25 video game through his PS5, was turned off. Carlito became an official member of the Judgment Day last year, just months after he turned on the Latino World Order. Since then, he has mainly been seen aiding his Judgement Day stablemates to victory, in addition to eating apples and playing WWE 2K25 backstage. His last WWE match came on the April 18 episode of WWE SmackDown in which he competed in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Advertisement One day before news of his imminent exit emerged, Carlito defeated Ray Gonzalez for the WWC Puerto Rico Championship at the World Wrestling Council, a promotion co-owned by his father Carlos Colon. Carlito, 46, officially returned to WWE in 2023, beginning with an appearance at the Backlash premium live event. Months later, he resurfaced by helping the LWO at Fastlane. Erik and Ivar of the War Raiders React to Sarah Logan's (Valhalla) WWE Release
The War Raiders say goodbye to Valhalla in WWE. On Monday, Valhalla (formerly Sarah Logan) revealed that WWE would not be renewing her contract with them, meaning her departure from WWE is imminent. On the heels of this news, Ivar and Erik of the War Raiders have replied with messages of encouragement. 'Valhalla FOREVER,' Ivar wrote on Twitter/X alongside a black-and-white, smiling image of him, Valhalla, and Erik. Elsewhere on Instagram stories, Erik wrote to his real-life wife, 'I love you [Valhalla]. I'm proud of you.' Advertisement Valhalla's last WWE match came in February 2024 when she and 18 other women competed in a battle royal, with the final spot in the Women's Elimination Chamber on the line. Weeks later, she confirmed her pregnancy with her second child. She and Erik then welcomed their new son into the world in November 2024. Hours after Valhalla confirmed her exit from WWE, the War Raiders battled Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh on WWE Raw, with the latter duo emerging victorious. This came after Roxanne Perez distracted Ivar and the referee, allowing McDonagh to push him into the ring post and Balor to finish him off with a Coup De Grace. (Check out everything that went down on WWE RAW here.) Valhalla isn't the only star leaving WWE, as R-Truth and Carlito confirmed their departures as well. Also like her, WWE opted not to renew their contracts. Kofi Kingston files formal complaint against WWE referee after RAW chaos
Image via WWE In a surprising turn of events following WWE RAW on June 2, World Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston took to social media to announce that he had filed an official complaint against referee Jessika Carr. The incident occurred during a tag team match involving The War Raiders and Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, where Kingston and Xavier Woods were present at ringside. As part of the New Day's usual antics, Kofi and Woods stirred up some ringside mischief - something that didn't sit well with Carr. In a swift move, the referee ejected both tag champs from ringside, a decision that left Kofi visibly frustrated. Hours later, the veteran WWE Superstar took to X (formerly Twitter) to make his stance clear. 'Let the record show: I have just filed an official complaint about the heinous and overreaching actions of @WWELadyRefJess tonight,' Kingston wrote. Referee Jessika Carr hits back with no regrets Referee Jessika Carr didn't let the criticism go unanswered. In a confident response, she posted, 'Complain all you want my friend, but the official has the final word. Sorry, not sorry…..pal. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch vàng CFDs với sàn môi giới tin cậy IC Markets Tìm hiểu thêm Undo Better luck next time.' While Carr's tweet was met with support from many fans, others took the opportunity to stir the pot, reigniting debates about officiating decisions in WWE. One user commented, 'Good call Jess!' while another fan humorously added, 'I'm writing a letter and sending it to corporate too. Snail mail.' Amid the ringside chaos, Judgment Day capitalized. Roxanne Perez, the group's newest ally, distracted The War Raiders at a crucial moment, giving Balor the opening to land his signature Coup de Grace and secure the win for his team. While neither team has officially been announced as No. 1 contenders yet, the win puts Balor and McDonagh in a strong position to challenge Kingston and Woods for the World Tag Team Championships in the near future. Roxanne Perez helps Judgment Day defeat War Raiders: Raw highlights, June 2, 2025 Will WWE respond to Kofi Kingston's complaint? As of now, WWE has not issued any formal response to Kingston's complaint, nor has on-screen authority figure Adam Pearce commented on the matter. However, fans online are watching closely. Some believe this could be the start of a larger storyline, especially with Judgment Day potentially eyeing the tag titles and tensions between teams reaching a boiling point. Others see this as a playful jab by Kingston, who is known for blending humor and theatrics into his performances - both in the ring and online. Still, the fact that the complaint was made 'official' adds a layer of intrigue. WWE's history of incorporating real-time fan interactions and social media moments into ongoing feuds means this incident could escalate quickly in the coming weeks. Whether it results in a disciplinary hearing, a comedic backstage segment, or adds fuel to an upcoming tag team feud, Kofi's actions have once again put New Day in the spotlight. With Jessika Carr holding her ground and Judgment Day gaining momentum, the tag division may be heading into a volatile phase. For now, fans will have to wait and see if Kingston's formal protest leads to any consequences - or if it's simply another example of WWE's chaos unfolding both inside and outside the ring.
