Bodies of husband and wife taken hostage by Hamas recovered from Gaza by Israeli forces
The bodies of two Israeli hostages have been returned from Gaza, Israel's prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said. The bodies of husband and wife, Judy Weinstein-Hagi, 70, and Gadi Hagi, 72, from Kibbutz Nir Oz, were recovered during a special operation by the Shin Bet, Israel's secrity agency, and the IDF. He said they were killed on October 7, 2023 and their bodies taken back to Gaza. In a statement Netenyahu said: "Together with all citizens of Israel, my wife and I extend our heartfelt condolences to the dear families. "Our hearts ache for the most terrible loss. May their memory be blessed. "I would like to thank and honour the fighters and commanders for their determined and successful execution. "We will not rest or be silent until we return all of our abductees home - the living and the dead alike." The Hostages and Missing Families Forum said: "The return of Judi and Gadi for proper burial in their beloved homeland represents the closing of a circle and the fulfillment of the state's fundamental obligation to them." The hostages' families said: "The return of Judi and Gadi is painful and heartbreaking, yet it also brings healing to our uncertainty. "Their return reminds us all that it is the state's duty to bring everyone home, so that we, the families, together with all the people of Israel, can begin the process of healing and recovery."Decision-makers must do everything necessary to reach an agreement that will return all 56 remaining hostages, the living for rehabilitation and the murdered for burial. "There is no need to wait another 608 agonising days for this. "The mission can be completed as early as tomorrow morning. This is what the majority of the Israeli people want."We want to emphasise today, a grave is not a privilege. A grave is a basic human right, without which personal and national recovery is impossible."

Brooklyn Beckham 'worshipping at altar of Nicola's beauty' amid family feud
As Brooklyn Beckham stirs up fresh rumours about his reported family feud, a body language expert delves into his multi-layered Instagram posts, which are "brimming with symbolism" An alleged feud appears to be rumbling on in the House of Beckham, amid rumours that eldest son Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz have distanced themselves from the rest of the brood. Rumours of a rift within the formerly close-knit family have been circulating for some time. Notably, Brooklyn was not in attendance at dad David Beckham's star-studded 50th birthday celebrations earlier this month. He also didn't publicly wish mum Victoria Beckham a happy 51st birthday back in April. Now, speculation has reached fever pitch as the 26-year-old chef appeared to make a pointed dig at his loved ones, with a post about how he would "always choose" wife Nicola. Sharing a video of them soaring off on a motorbike together, Brookyn declared that Nicola was his "whole world", much to the frustration of followers, who asked him to also remember his "beautiful parents who will always love you unconditionally". Although the ins and outs of what's really going on behind the closed doors of Beckingham Palace remain mysterious, a photograph, and indeed an Instagram video, can paint a thousand words. And on this subject, body language expert Judi James has shared her thoughts on Brooklyn and Nicola's "Show, don't tell snaps". Judi has reflected that Brooklyn's amorous displays of affection bear some similarities to his famous parents, with the former model and photography student carrying on a Beckham "family tradition". Judi told the Mirror: "This behaviour would be labelled 'Show, don't tell' where someone goes to great pains to illustrate their thoughts and external messages via photos or videos rather than having conversations. "It's normal practice in the Beckham household. David's 'love language' has always been his tattoos, and Victoria's trait of draping herself over her man in photos to suggest besotted ownership is a signature trait, meaning Brooklyn is just carrying on a family tradition. "He also seems to be doing the same by marrying a strong, beautiful and successful woman. When David married Victoria, he was a shy and less well-known footballer while she was a Spice Girl at the peak of her fame." With this in mind, eagle-eyed Judi has picked up on how Brooklyn's visual public messages appear to "fall into three categories". According to Judi: "Firstly, his photos show how much he worships at the altar of his wife's beauty. This idea of having married a 'catch' seems important to him. Then he seems constantly keen to show pics of their sex life. "There were photos of the couple in the bath, and there were pics of them kissing and embracing. Beauty and hot sex would seem to go on his non-verbal CV as an explanation why he seems or is rumoured to be alienated from his family." As explained by Judi, this sort of social media display is commonly seen when an individual "wants to 'explain' their lives during a split." Judi clarified: "It's about more than just boasting. It's not unusual for a partner to be unpopular with the other's parents, especially when the bonding has been as strong as the Beckhams. There is often a feeling during a fall-out that 'You don't know what the person I love is like behind the scenes.' "Pics like this are often used to show off their loving and sexual side. It can be an explanation of why any alienation, fallout or split can be worth it." And there's one image in particular that Judi has noted seems "brimming with symbolism" - the video of the couple zooming off on a motorbike together, appearing carefree and completely united. Delving into this, Judi said: "Firstly, Brooklyn seems to want to show that he is in charge in the relationship and moving forward and making the main decisions. This could be in answer to the 'hostage' claims. Nicola is clinging to his back like a backpack, not calling the shots here, and they look like they are escaping." She continued: "Then there is his written message of 'I always choose you' and 'Me and you forever' that is written for Nicola, but possibly aimed at his parents. It's sounding a definitive line in the sand that suggests he has to make a choice. "It sounds like a rebel yell and makes what is happening have a romantic narrative as they ride off into the sunset on their motorbike. It also seems to put the ball firmly in the parents' court in terms of making up. When someone posts videos like this, what can often in real life be a rather sad and stupid family rift can be made to look like a gesture of teenager-style rebellion." T he Mirror has contacted Brooklyn and Nicola's representatives for comment.

Loose Women star bags major new role days after ITV's brutal daytime TV cuts
A Loose Women icon recently took to her Instagram page to announce the release of her new podcast, with its first episode released today (Friday 30 May) An iconic Loose Women panellist has landed a brand new job just days after ITV announced its shock changes. The popular daytime programme will air for just 30 weeks each year from January, one of several changes ITV is making to "reinvest across the programme budget in other genres." It reportedly left some Loose Women stars worried for their future, particularly Coleen Nolan, who a source had said was "shocked and blindsided" at the decision. It also emerged some panelists were "in a state of panic and up in arms" about the bombshell changes that were only recently announced – while Nadia Sawalha broke down in tears and said "I could be let go tomorrow" as she discussed the cuts. Amid the panic, panellist Judi Love revealed she landed herself a podcasting gig. On Friday morning, the 44-year-old comedian took to her Instagram to reveal the first episode of Our Table. Fellow Loose Woman panellist Charlene White is joining her for the brand-new show, along with David Gyasi, comedian Michelle de Swarte and actress Deborah Ayorinde. "Our Table will launch on Friday, the 30th, on YouTube and all major podcast platforms!," Judi recently posted on social media. "We have an exciting series lined up, featuring incredible guests and engaging conversations. Join us at Our Table!!" Fans congratulated her on her new venture, as one said: "Well done Judi, an incredible trajectory," and another posted: "Yesssssssss! Congratulations our Judi." Nadia Sawalha added: "Truly overwhelmed at how fabulous this show is..." The guests of the first episode discussed "identity, ambition, and the life experiences that have shaped them" over a Caribbean-inspired meal made by Chef Dom Taylor. "Honest, moving, and often hilarious, this episode sets the tone for a series that's all about real people and real talk," the description explained. Meanwhile, ITV recently stressed Loose Women plays an important part in its daytime schedule, and told the Mirror that wholesale changes to the panel are unlikely. The ITV source said: "We are not planning any radical changes to the panel. All of our Loose Women are hugely valued and we celebrate each and every one and the experience and opinions they bring to the show every day. "Many of our long standing panellists have appeared on the show for the majority of its 25 year run on screens and those stalwart, Loose legends are at the core of the show's success and hugely popular with the audience. The show remains a big priority within our daytime slate, having secured a BAFTA nomination, launched a podcast and celebrated a milestone anniversary in the last year alone." The programme, which first aired in 2000, won a Royal Television Society award earlier this year for its Facing It Together campaign against domestic violence.

The most X-rated moments of celeb PDA that shouldn't have been let out of the bedroom: biting and licking to full nudity
WE'VE all heard the phrase, 'dance like nobody's watching'. But it appears that celebrities subscribe to a more X-rated philosophy: flirt like nobody's watching. 9 Kourtney Kardashian earned herself the Queen of PDA title after getting together with her husband Travis Scott Credit: Social Media - Refer to Source 9 Amazon founder Jeff Bezos was spotted groping and spanking his fiancé's bum on his £371 million superyacht last weekend Credit: Splash Just last weekend, Amazon founder The billionaire is set to wed American journalist 'Jeff's 'naughty' smile in the pictures from his superyacht suggest playfulness rather than heavy-duty seduction,' comments body language expert Judi James. 'He does also seem to be in awe of his fiancée's upturned bum, and maybe in awe of her altogether. read more on celebs 'This is a cheeky, saucy approach to flirting, with a focus on playful romps rather than intense passion.' Jeff and Lauren aren't the first (and definitely won't be the last) famous couple to pack on the PDA, the acronym for 'public displays of affection'. Here, Fabulous takes a look at the most X-rated celeb PDAs that shouldn't have been let out of the bedroom… Katie Price & Kris Boyson 9 Katie Price was pictured going topless while on holiday with former boyfriend Kris Boyson in 2018 Credit: BackGrid Former glamour model Most read in Celebrity The 47-year-old sat in a dominant and controlling pose, leaning back with her legs open in what appeared to be a power move. 'As a PDA, it seemed to let us know that Katie is sexually in charge, controlling and maybe even a little insatiable, too,' analyses Judi. 'Poses like this tend to be all about the woman's dominance, suggesting she's the sexual 'goddess' while he struggles to keep up with her demands. It looks like the effort here is all going to have to come from the guy.' Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker 9 Kourtney shared a video sucking Travis' thumb to shortly after starting their relationship in 2021 Credit: Instagram Since shacking up with Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, 49, in 2021, the oldest Kardashian sister has earned herself the title of Queen of PDA. The A List couple 'Can a thumb be used to mimic a penis? It looks like it can in that cheeky PDA, which looks suspiciously like sexual act mimicry as Kourtney gets her lips around her guy's tattooed thumb,' comments Judi. 'It's the way she has her hand wrapped round the stem of the thumb and her eyes cast down onto the small object of desire that adds the sizzle to this body language pose.' Cardi B & Offset 9 cardi-b-offset-simulate-sex-997188550 Credit: Instagram Given she raps about her sex life and bedroom talents, it's no surprise that This peaked when she shared a video on Instagram of her and ex-husband Offset, 33, stimulating sex in a hotel mirror. 'Slipping into the bathroom suggests busy lives and tight schedules where spontaneity is the name of the game,' Judi says. 'These two might look like they're trying to shock but those playful smiles add a wholesome-looking spin to an otherwise raunchy pose.' Megan Fox & Machine Gun Kelly 9 Megan Fox and MGK publicly tongue-twizzled at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards Credit: Getty Actress Megan Fox, 39, and musician Machine Gun Kelly (MGK)'s relationship began in March 2020, and they immediately started packing on the PDA. The pair even introduced a On multiple occasions, they publicly tongue twizzled - including at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards when MGK, 35, painted his tongue black. However, Judi suggests that this move could be an 'overkill front for a much quieter and far less passionate sex life away from the cameras', adding: 'It's often the ones advertising it the most that are doing it the least.' Elizabeth Hurley & Shane Warne 9 Elizabeth Hurley was in a relationship with the late cricketer Shane Warne in the early 2010s Credit: Getty Years before shacking up with country icon Billy Ray Cyrus, 63, model Elizabeth Hurley, 59, was in a relationship with the late cricketer Shane Warne. The pair were seen getting steamy in a VIP box at Ascot Racecourse in July 2013, with Shane even chomping on Liz's lip. 'This kind of chomping and pulling as a very public display suggests something in between a tease and a desire to register control,' Judi analyses. 'It suggests Shane has no desire to look like a celebrity show-pony as it is an act of domination during what should be a ritual of shared affection.' Addison Rae & Omer Fedi 9 Addison Rae's boyfriend Omer Fedi licked her on the GRAMMYs red carpet in 2022 Credit: Getty There might be recent speculation that TikTok star Addison Rae, 24, and her beau Omer Fedi, 25, have broken up due to a lack of public appearances, but they're no strangers to PDA. In fact, on the red carpet at the 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards in 2022, Omer licked his girlfriend in front of the cameras. 'It's performative stuff that shows the couple still want to be on top of their game when it comes to punk appeal,' Judi comments. 'It's aimed at prompting envy and to act as a competitive status boast to other celebs by suggesting their sex is the hottest.' Orlando Bloom & Katy Perry 9 While on a romantic trip to Italy in summer 2016, Orlando went full frontal while steering Katy through the Sardinia sea Credit: Xposure Katy Perry, 40, and Orlando Bloom, 48, first met in 2016 and got engaged in 2019, then went on to welcome their first child, Daisy Dove Bloom, in 2020. In the early days of their love story, they packed on the PDA - including the infamous images of the Pirates of the Caribbean actor naked on a paddle board. While on a romantic trip to Italy in summer 2016, Orlando went full frontal while steering Katy through the Sardinia sea. While he clearly wasn't too worried about catching the sun in certain areas, he kept his face entirely covered with a cap and shades. The actor did however decide to cover up as he approached the shore and quickly pulled his shorts up so as not to offend other beachgoers. Once dressed, he embraced Katy by the waist and the pair shared a public snog.

Dame Judi Dench forever grateful for her acting career
Dame Judi Dench is eternally grateful for her acting career. The 90-year-old actress has been a fixture on both screen and stage since the 1950s but still feels fortunate to be in a profession that she loves. Dame Judi told My Weekly magazine: "I feel very lucky to be part of the two per cent of people who wanted to do something and were able to make a living at it. "I never cease to be grateful of the fact that I am able to do a job that I really love – I never got over that. ... the key to happiness is gratitude." Her ability to work has been limited by the macular degeneration that has badly affected her eyesight, although she remains "in love with life". The former James Bond actress said: "Be thankful for what you have, and you'll find abundance in every aspect of your life. I'm in love with life even though it is a beautiful mess – but that's what makes it so incredible." Dame Judi is widely seen as a national treasure in Britain but she jokingly sees the title in another way. She said: "It's dusty and dreary. It's like I've been picked up and put inside a little glass-fronted cabinet. Then they've locked the door so I can't get out." Dame Judi revealed earlier in 2025 that she lost her voice for two days after being scared by a close encounter with a snake when she starred in a 1987 production of Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra. The Oscar-winner, who was playing the female lead in the play, told the BBC Radio 4 documentary 'Roleplay': "One night, the boys taking me [carrying me] kept hissing. I was wondering what on earth was going on. "Then, back on stage at the very end of the play, the snake fell out of my wig as I did my bow. I was so scared I lost my voice for two days."
