Rambha now lives a private life in Canada with her husband and three kids, Laanya (born in 2011), Sasha (2015), and a son born in 2018 She last appeared in the Malayalam film Filmstar in 2011. Behind this massive production is one man who has the vision and courage to make such a big film with such a star-studded cast – none other than Sajid Nadiadwala. Today, we will tell you more about him and his production company. Sajid Nadiadwala was born on 18 February 1966. His grandfather, Abdul Karim Nadiadwala, came to Mumbai from Nadiad, Gujarat, in 1955. He went on to make hundreds of films and established a strong presence in the industry. The family lived in Madal, where they owned a theatre and more than 5,000 acres of land and roads in Abdul Karim's name. He released his first film, Inspector, in 1956, followed by blockbuster hits like Taj Mahal i n 1963 and Chitralekha in 1964. Sajid's father also produced films. Sajid Nadiadwala wanted to become… Sajid Nadiadwala became a producer later. Before that, he was a chartered accountant (CA) and a lawyer. He wanted to become an IAS officer. He had also prepared for the competition and failed miserably in the subject in which he thought he was the best. After this, he decided to try his luck in filmmaking. Nadiadwala first assisted filmmaker JP Dutta in the film 'Ghulami' and then joined his uncle Habib Nadiadwala in the production business. During this time, he did everything from making tea and coffee on the sets to arranging food and ice for the production staff and even driving and dropping off the actors. The Nadiadwala family has been involved in filmmaking since 1955. Carrying forward his ancestral legacy, Sajid Nadiadwala founded Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. in 1995. His company produces motion pictures, radio, television films, and shows. The production house has successfully created sequels to four major franchises – Judwaa, Housefull, Kick, and Baaghi. Sajid made his debut as a producer with Zulm Ki Hukumat in 1992, starring Dharmendra, Govinda, and Shakti Kapoor. The film, adapted from The Godfather, turned out to be a box-office success. He went on to produce several hit films, including Waqt Hamara Hai, Jeet, Judwaa, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Heyy Babyy, Housefull, Housefull 2, Highway, 2 States, and Heropanti. He started a company named Nadiadwala Grandson Infrastructure and developed projects in Andheri area of Mumbai. He owns a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon worth Rs 67 lakh, Mercedes Benz V-Class worth Rs 1.46 crore, Mercedes Benz S500 worth Rs 1.73 crore and Lamborghini Urus worth Rs 4.22 crore. Actress Mrunal Thakur is still unable to believe that she is working with the celebrated director David Dhawan in her next, 'Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.'
