Disc golf returning to VyStar Ballpark in July
The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp's 'Aces Around the Bases' disc golf event will return to VyStar Ballpark this Summer. The event will take place on Friday, July 25 from 4:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. and on Saturday, July 26 from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. The nine-hole course will go through all of VyStar Ballpark, including the concourse, field, and Baptist Health Centerfield Plaza. It costs $70 for a pair to play in the event and $140 for a group of four. Tickets for the event are on sale now. All paying players will receive a free, limited edition Jumbo Shrimp disc. Food and drinks will be available for purchase during the 'Aces Around the Bases' event. Parking is free for the event and guests can enter at the Main Gate on Georgia St.

The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp unveiled a new way for fans to watch the game at VyStar Ballpark. The Jumbo Shrimp announced its new 'Shrimp Boat' seating area. In a statement, the team says, 'VyStar Ballpark's new Shrimp Boats are a nod to Jacksonville's rich seafood heritage and deliver both an extraordinary view of the ballpark while also providing guests access to the brand-new Right Field Hall, a climate-controlled space with an exquisite food and beverage experience.' Jumbo Shrimp Executive Vice President and General Manager Harold Craw says, 'Our Shrimp Boats truly tie VyStar Ballpark to the City of Jacksonville and Northeast Florida region.' Craw adds, 'No experience in sports links a ballpark with the area in which it's located in while also providing an amazing view of the action and access to one of the brand-new gathering spaces we have rolled out in the Right Field Hall and all the delightful food and beverage options available there.' Shrimp Boat tickets are $30 and include an assigned seat inside one of the three boats above the Baptist Health Centerfield Plaza. The Jumbo Shrimp's next homestand starts on April 22 against the Gwinnett Stripers. Tickets are on sale now.

Doubleheader Saturday: Jumbo Shrimp game Friday postponed due to weather
Jacksonville's Friday night face-off against Charlotte will have to wait, after storms in the area forced the game to be postponed. Instead, the Jumbo Shrimp and the Knights will make it a two-fer Saturday. Advertisement Gates will open at 4 P.M., before the doubleheader's first pitch at 5:05 P.M. One ticket will get you into both games, which will be reduced to seven innings each, with about 30 minutes in between. Saturday's games at Vystar Ballpark will be accompanied by music from a live DJ, and a fireworks show is scheduled for afterwards. The Jumbo Shrimp are currently on a hot streak, having won five games in a row. Anyone who purchased tickets online or over the phone can exchange their Friday ticket for Saturday through their My Tickets account. Walk-up tickets can be exchanged in person at the box office by the main gate or by calling (904) 358-2846. Learn from the Jumbo Shrimp: Youth baseball clinic registration now open The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp announced the team will be hosting a youth baseball clinic this summer at Vystar Ballpark. Both Jumbo Shrimp players and coaches will be there to give the next generation of baseball players pointers during the height of baseball season. Children aged 7 to 14 will be able to learn the fundamentals from the professionals during the two-day camp, running from June 26 to June 27th. Advertisement Read: Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp launch exclusive Kids Club membership Camp hours will be between 9 A.M. and Noon, with daily arrival time beginning at 8:30 A.M. Lunch will be provided daily, as well as tickets to the 7:05 P.M. game on June 27th against the Nashville Sounds and two undated tickets to a 2025 game of their choice. All children registered by June 22nd will also receive a camp t-shirt. Participation is $200 per camper, but prices are lowered to $175 until April 12th. To secure a spot for your player, click here.
