Junaid Qureshi
's journey—marked by personal loss and relentless determination—stands as a testament to the power of perseverance and the strength of family path to IIM was anything but conventional.
Having lost his father at the age of 11, Junaid leaned on the unwavering support of his mother, now a homemaker, and his elder brother, an administrative assistant in Pune. Their sacrifices fuelled his determination to fulfill the family's dream of an IIM degree. "Their constant support played a huge role in where I stand today," he said with completing his 10th grade, he pursued a diploma followed by a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from YCCE, Nagpur. He then worked for a year as a trainee analyst before setting his sights on the
Common Admission Test
(CAT). Balancing a full-time job with intense study sessions—10 pm to 2 am on weekdays and entire weekends devoted to preparation—his discipline paid off when he secured admission to
IIM Nagpur
