1 killed, 1 hurt, man arrested after Marion County crash

LEBANON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A two-vehicle crash killed one man and left a passenger in his car injured, leading to the arrest of a Marion County man. It happened just before 10 a.m. on Sunday, according to a news release from Kentucky State Police (KSP). An initial investigation showed that Justin Baron, 26, of Loretto, was driving west on US-68 in a 2002 Dodge Ram and allegedly tried to make a right turn at high speed through the intersection of the highway and the Lebanon Bypass. New Hampshire man arrested in Florence allegedly sent nude photos to minor State police said Baron allegedly lost control and went across the intersection, hitting a 2010 GMC Sierra driven by William Norris, 55, of Loretto. Norris was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene by the Marion County coroner. Shirley Norris, 82, of Lebanon, was taken to the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
