KDOT to resurface K-47 in Crawford Co., expect delays
GIRARD, Kan. — Drivers beware. A construction project in Southeast Kansas could cause some delays.
K-DOT will begin a 1-point-2 million dollar resurfacing project on K-47 in Crawford County tomorrow. The work will begin at the east city limits of Girard and continue east for 7 miles to end at U.S. 69.
Flaggers and a pilot car will direct one-lane traffic during the day. K-DOT officials say delays shouldn't last longer than 15 minutes. Work on this project is expected to last about a month, weather permitting.
